On the morning of July 21st, 2006, practitioners from all over Sweden gathered in front of the Swedish Chinese Embassy to carry out a peaceful protest. They strongly condemned the seven-year persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the recently exposed crimes of harvesting organs from living practitioners. They also supported the over twelve million people who have quit the CCP and its related organisations.

Protesting against the persecution in front of the Chinese Embassy

In early morning, after a light rain, the air was really fresh. The narrow path opposite us was the road that people must pass if they want to go to Chinese embassy to handle their visa business. Some people were shocked after reading the information on the posters we exhibited and were happy to take leaflets about Falun Gong. Two policewomen on horses also accepted the information from our practitioners and held up their thumbs to encourage us.

In March, the crime of harvesting organs from living practitioners was exposed, and was verified by two Canadians on July 6th, 2006. They are former member of Parliament David Kilgour and famous human rights lawyer David Matas. They held a press conference on Parliament Hill, Ottawa on July 6th, 2006. A "Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China" was also published on that day.

Today, many of the Swedish and Chinese who came to the Embassy to handle their credentials already knew about the persecution of Falun Gong in China and are concerned about it. More and more Chinese are awakening and gradually shaking off the mental control by the evil CCP and returning to their own good and honest natures.
