1. "She hasn't done anything against the law, why are you harassing her?"

A policeman from the "610 Office" (responsible for persecuting Falun Gong) came to a workplace where a Dafa practitioner worked and intended to take her away and put her into a brainwashing class. The leader of the workplace and his colleagues all told the policeman that that Dafa practitioner was a very good person, and they would not allow the police to arrest her. The policeman had nothing to say and slipped away. A few days later, he came back again dressed in plain clothes. He thought nobody would recognize him, but as soon as he entered through the door, people working in the hospital recognized him. He told them that he came to the hospital for his illness. The Dafa practitioner heard the commotion and came out to see what was going on. One of the doctors told the policeman, "She'll take a look at your illness." The policeman was too intimated to fake his illness any more, and quickly left.

2. My mother-in law asked the policemen: "What did my daughter-in-law do that made you take her away?"

On November 1, 2002, a group of policemen came to my home and told me that I had to go to the police station with them. I told them that if they had anything to say to me, then they could just tell me right there, and that I needed to take care of my elderly mother-in-law. They would not do that. My mother-in-law got so mad that she had a heart attack and fell down to the ground. Just then, my husband came home and saw the scene. He shouted loudly: "My wife hasn't been violating any law. Is staying at home cooking and taking care of old people a crime?" The policemen didn't dare to say anything. Being afraid of taking any responsibility, they quietly left.
