Falun Gong practitioners from areas around Germany and nearby countries held a march and other activities on June 24, 2016 to raise awareness about Falun Gong and the persecution in China.

A tourist from Shanghai said to a practitioner, “I thought that the persecution was over as there is no longer any mention of Falun Gong in the media in China.” [In the early years of the persecution, China's state-run media ran constant fabricated reports attacking Falun Gong.] The practitioner told him, “The persecution is still going on. Every day there are Falun Gong practitioners being arrested, beaten or even tortured to death. Minghui.org covers the news daily.” The tourist said he would visit Minghui.org to learn more.

The practitioner mentioned that the CCP staged a self-immolation incident on Tiananmen Square during the 2001 Chinese New Year. The tourist suddenly understood after the practitioner pointed out the suspicious points in the video broadcast. He said he knew there were many hidden facts and that many people were persecuted. He said to the practitioner before leaving, “I understand. Thank you!”

Birge, a 79-year-old woman, watched the march from outside a coffee shop. She said, “I don't know much about the persecution in China. But I noted a word, 'Forbearance' in the banners. The word is very good, as the world would be much better if people could forbear and forgive one another. They (Falun Gong practitioners) are impressive. I like their music and I support them.”

That there is such a crime (live organ harvesting) in this world is incredible. People should know about it. I come from a former communist country and I know it is not a good system.”
