The 2nd Division of the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp in Liaoning Province now holds only Falun Gong practitioners, while the 1st Division holds regular prisoners. The 2nd Division of the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp has three units, each with 6 sub-units. Now it illegally detains a staggering number of over 1,350 Falun Gong practitioners in total.

The following are some typical barbaric means that police are using on Dafa practitioners in Masanjia Forced Labour Camp:

1. A variety of physical tortures for determined Falun Gong practitioners, including forced squatting on the floor all day without changing position.

2. If Falun Gong practitioners do not cooperate, they hang them up onto the heating pipes by handcuffing both hands. In addition to continuous physical torture and abuse, practitioners are also deprived of sleep. In this way, some practitioners were in great pain and some even lost consciousness.

3. They place Master Li Hongzhi's picture on the floor, and force practitioners to sit on it. This despicable means causes practitioners great mental and emotional suffering.

4. The police tie up practitioners' hands and feet, stuff their mouth with towels and then hang them up. In addition to pouring freezing water onto the practitioners, they also use electric batons to shock them.

5. Police force practitioners to bend and cross legs, then tie them up with ropes, without allowing them any movement. They do not loosen the binding until the practitioner signs a "guarantee" to give up Falun Gong. Even ladies over 60 years old are tortured like this.

6. The police threaten, "You will be tortured to death in three days at Masanjia if you do not transform." Every day, Dafa practitioners have been bearing huge physical and mental abuse.
