They went to see a lady who is responsible for human rights in one of the political parties. She is also head of the Croatian branch of the International Association for Human Rights, a human rights organization that supports Falun Gong in Austria. This lady promised that she would help them to get support for Falun Gong from her party.
The practitioners also gave out Falun Gong flyers in Zagreb. One of them had a positive experience when handing out flyers. A young man took a flyer. After a short time he came back and wanted to hear more about Falun Dafa and then said that he thinks that Falun Dafa will be the future and that this persecution in China is a big test for the practitioners. The visiting practitioners’ host in Zagreb also said that Falun Dafa will be the future. The practitioners also met some Chinese people who took Falun Gong newspapers in Chinese.
The next day they went to the foreign ministry, to the Prime minister’s office and to one of the President’s advisors. All of them accepted information materials and engaged in some good conversations with the practitioners. The President’s advisor was also very interested in Falun Gong and said she would inform the President too. They also had a very good meeting at the Austrian embassy with the Austrian consul in person and he said that he would give this information to the whole Austrian delegation in Croatia (more than 100 people).
Another friend, in Zagreb, put the practitioners in touch with the local radio station and a esoteric bookstore. A book publisher also called to say that he would like to publish the Falun Dafa books in Croatia.
All in all, it was a very positive experience.
