Police Force Passengers to Trample Teacher Li's Portrait

Evil police from Wendeng in Shandong Province, set up a checkpoint several times at a toll station on the second grade highway from Weihai City to Qingdao City. They forced all passengers to trample on a portrait of Falun Gong founder, Teacher Li Hongzhi, and arrested anyone who refused to do so. Many passengers were very upset saying, "this is bandits' behavior".

During the period during the two [National] Conferences" police from the Harbor Police Station of Weihai City, placed a portrait of the Falun Gong founder on the ground near the entrance and exit the station. Policemen Zhang Xiao, Xu Yuanhe and Ma Fulong forced passengers to step on the portrait. This was to find and prevent any practitioners from going to Beijing to appeal.

They arrested any passengers who did not step on the portrait. Policemen also set up checkpoints on the highway from Wendeng to Rushan. Passengers were not allowed to continue on through until they had slandered the founder of Falun Gong.
