Practitioners from across Japan are making efforts to comprehensively clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to the Japanese society. They make use of various means to let people from all walks of life learn about support for Falun Gong from the international community, especially the lawsuit against Jiang in the US. They also want to raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong in China and the illegal imprisonment of Ms. Yoko Kaneko in China.

Practitioners in different areas are holding a series of activities. Some practitioners held a car tour to the remote areas where there are no Falun Gong practitioners and where the related organisations and people have no idea about the persecution of Falun Gong.

Some went to County Councils, County governments or City Councils and City Governments to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to related people, and delivered petitions to call upon people from all walks of life in Japanese society to help rescue Ms. Yoko Kaneko.

Some practitioners persist in sending righteous thoughts in front of the Chinese Embassy or the Chinese Consulates.

Kinki practitioners started a new round of truth clarification efforts by holding a car tour. They wanted to inform more Japanese people of the persecution of Ms. Yoko Kaneko, the persecution of Falun Gong and the lawsuit against Jiang in the US for persecuting Falun Gong.

Practitioners collect signatures in Gifuken (County)

The first stop of the activity was Gifuken. Practitioners arrived in Gifuken in the early morning and immediately started making preparations for signature collection. Some practitioners visited local media and government organisations; some others prepared materials and display boards.

The next day, it was raining. The signature collection was scheduled to be held in front of Gifu Station. As it was impossible to hold the activity outdoors, the practitioners went to contact the stationmaster and requested to collect signatures in the hall of the station. Generally speaking, holding such activities in Japan's railway stations is usually difficult to receive approval. The practitioners got rid of any notions about the outcome. Then, as one practitioner went to negotiate with the stationmaster, the rest of practitioners sent righteous thoughts. The practitioner explained to the stationmaster about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, and informed him of Ms. Yoko Kaneko's illegally imprisonment in China and the lawsuit against Jiang in the US. The stationmaster then accepted the practitioner's request.

Gifu Press news agency sent a reporter to cover the activity and interview practitioners. Practitioners first introduced Falun Gong and the inhumane persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, and then presented detailed information about Yoko Kaneko's illegal detention in China, and finally practitioners introduced to him the current situation of Falun Gong overseas and the international community's support. The practitioner especially talked about the lawsuit against Jiang in the US. The reporter was moved after hearing about the persecution in China. Early the next morning, the reporter's report was published in the newspaper.

Because of the rain, there were many passengers staying inside the hall. Practitioners distributed nearly four thousand pieces of Dafa truth-clarifying materials.

Many practitioners have fully realised the importance of the activity after studying the Fa [principles of Falun Gong based on Truthfulness - Compassion - Forbearance, ], especially Master's recent lectures, and many of them overcame all kinds of difficulties to participate. The night before the activity, when practitioners were sleeping in tents outdoors, a downpour caused the rain to come into the tents. The practitioners had no complaints.

Next day, they went to the second stop--Fukuiken (County). They met with all kinds of interference as soon as they arrived there. Passersby did not feel like signing their names or accepting Dafa truth-clarifying literature and materials. The practitioners were not affected but treated all this with righteous thoughts.

In the afternoon, the situation changed. More and more people were glad to accept Dafa truth-clarifying materials. Many passersby requested the materials on their own initiative, and some people ran to us to sign their names. A middle school student signed his name and listened to practitioners' explanation, and then requested to have a signature collection form for more than 100 people, and said that he would ask his classmates and teachers to sign. Many people read the truth-clarifying materials, and returned to sign their names.

In the afternoon, local media came to conduct interviews. The reporter carefully and attentively listened to the practitioners. In order to take photos of practitioners' signature collection, he asked a passerby to help.
