Australia: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in Community Festival in Sydney

On the 7th of August, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners from Sydney participated in a parade at the Hunters Hill Moocooboola Festival. The Falun Gong exercises were also demonstrated at a beautiful bay site. This is the third time practitioners have participated in this event. Many VIPs, including state and provincial MPs, Mayor and community commissioners attended the parade.

It was a lovely day and everyone was immersed in the holiday atmosphere. Among the participants of the parade, there were Scottish traditional costume, bagpipe players, drummers, scouts, race car club, and also practitioners' waist drum troupe and that Tang attire group. There was also a float on which children, and other Falun Gong cultivators demonstrated the fifth Falun Gong exercise.

When the Falun Gong procession passed by the main stage, the host introduced Falun Gong to the audience, saying that we were a rich and colourful group.
