From the 21st to the 24th of April 2005, Falun Gong practitioners from several cities in Ukraine went to the Art Museum in Vinnitsa city to hold the “Journey of Falun Dafa” photo exhibition. The exhibition was a great way for people in the city to find out what Falun Gong is and why the peaceful practice is being violently persecuted in China.

At the beginning of the exhibition, most of the visitors were very interested in Australian practitioner Zhang Cuiying’s paintings, some of which were also on display. They found out how practising Falun Dafa changed the artist’s life completely and helped her to recover from crippling arthritis. They also heard her experiences of suffering in a forced labour camp because she practises Falun Gong, before she was rescued after efforts from the Australian Government and kind-hearted people.

After visiting the exhibition, people expressed their indignation and sorrow at the persecution of Falun gong in China. Many of them signed their names to call for an end to these brutal human rights abuses. Some visitors left greetings and encouraging messages in our guest book. Here are some of them:
“After visiting the exhibition, I could not help pondering on what I had done for others, or whether I had helped others.”

“Thanks very much for holding this exhibition, I really enjoyed it. I hope it will help to arouse people’s good nature.”

“Extreme thanks to you for bringing this to us; this is the most precious opportunity to experience truthfulness, compassion and tolerance in this world. Here people help each other. There is no competing for personal gain, but only sincere hearts.”

“Many thanks to you all for what you have done and for guarding belief in the truth. Thank you again!”
