Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance – these are the main principles of an ancient Chinese cultivation way called Falun Gong. There are about 100 million practitioners of this cultivation method worldwide, but in China they are persecuted, jailed and tortured by the Chinese Communist Regime. Activists, whose efforts are focused on freeing these imprisoned people and seeking an end to the persecution, are organising information days about the persecution all around the world.

Yesterday a group of Falun Gong practitioners visited the square in Trebic and under its dominant atmosphere hung up a banner inscribed, “Stop the Genocide Against Falun Gong.”

A petition document was given to the petition committee of the Czech Parliament and to an office of the United Nations. These activities brought positive changes. One of them was that some people were freed from Chinese labour camps said one of the organisers, who started to practise Falun Gong three years ago. Other stopovers for this group will be Ostrava and Brno.

Falun Gong is a traditional Chinese method for improving body and mind that teaches people to live according to the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. The Chinese regime imprisons people who practise this method in China. In labour camps they have to stay in terrible inhuman conditions. This is exactly the reason why a group of practitioners of this ancient practice meet on Karls square to raise awareness about and condemn the persecution. Passers-by can sign the petition calling for an end to the persecution.
