Early in the morning on Chinese New Year's Day, over 100 Falun Gong practitioners, young and old, gathered in Pingtung's Millennium Park to practice the exercises and study the Fa. Many residents know that the Chinese Communist Party is persecuting Falun Gong in China but they don't know the reason, so they asked many questions.

The banners read "Falun Dafa, Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" and "Falun Dafa has benefited millions of people whose health improved and who have become more compassionate"

Ms. He has experienced the persecution of the Chinese Communist Party firsthand. On April 28th, 2004, Hong Kong police gave her a mind-altering injection and then expelled her. Ms. He told a reporter that the Communist Party's persecution includes torture, hate propaganda, and brainwashing. So far, the deaths of over 3,000 practitioners have been confirmed. The CCP has extended the persecution overseas. Ms. He was one of the victims. In Mainland China, even a lawyer, Mr. Gao Zhisheng, who wanted to defend Falun Gong practitioners was suppressed. His law firm was shut down, and plainclothes agents followed him day and night. The CCP even attempted to assassinate him.

Ms. He called on the public to be aware of this persecution, especially the fact that the law-enforcement officers in China are no longer following the persecution orders. She urged an end to the persecution as soon as possible and the release of all jailed Falun Gong practitioners.

After a young man listened to her clarify the truth, he wanted to learn the exercises. He wanted to know more about Falun Gong by experiencing it himself.
