Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Lu Shulin, who is in the Jilin No. 2 Prison, is in danger of losing his life. His entire body is swollen, he suffers from dizziness, and he has nausea and vomits regularly. Mr. Lu's mind is unclear and he loses consciousness frequently. His heart also beats too fast, and he experiences numbness down the left side of his body. A doctor's diagnoses indicated that his blood pressure is extremely high and he could die at any moment. The hospital and associated departments have explicitly indicated he should be released on bail for medical treatment. However Jilin No. 2 Prison still delays releasing him with an array of excuses.

Without a doubt, the intention of Jilin No. 2 Prison is to delay releasing Mr. Lu until he dies. When that happens, they will throw him out. The Chinese Communist Party's extermination policy is to physically and mentally destroy Falun Gong practitioners. They will tell the public that they have released someone on bail for medical treatment, but in fact what the family members get is a dead person or a living corpse, someone who is on his or her deathbed and not able to be rescued.

The prison officials once yelled to Mr. Lu Shulin's family member: "You think you are Jiang Zemin? You say, 'Release him' and you expect us to do it? You want him released? We will not do it! You want your money back, but we will not give you back your money. You are not in charge! We will not do it until we receive a 'critical condition' warning from the hospital."
