On August 7th, 2006, Taiwan Association for Rescuing Persecuted Falun Gong practitioners sent letters to courts under the Judicial Yuan, prosecuting offices, investigation bureaus and police offices regarding the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. On August 14th, Taipei County Government Police Department replied that several branch police offices had warned people against receiving such organ transplants in China. Police will take measures to prevent local people from going to China for such transplants. Chong-he Branch Office has copied the document to police stations and will keep reinforcing the warning at security meetings and outreach activities.

Chong-he Branch Police Office has copied the warning to all police stations and will reinforce the warning.

More Taiwanese people get organ transplants in Mainland China than any other country. To prevent innocent Taiwanese from unknowingly assisting the CCP in its murderous crimes, the Taiwan Association for Rescuing Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners called for all related government entities to help warn and prevent these transplants. This will reduce the chance of harm for both Taiwanese and Falun Gong practitioners in China.
