On June 26th, the largest Turkish newspaper, Hurriyet, carried a half-page article about the protest. The article said, "Falun Gong practitioners from many cities gathered outside the Chinese Embassy to protest. They are labeled as “political enemies” by the communist regime. These practitioners unfurled banners and posters which carried messages condemning the persecution. The protest was peaceful. The Turkish Falun Gong Association president, Cansin, told the reporters that the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Regime is very brutal and hair-raising and countless practitioners have been unlawfully arrested, detained and tortured. In addition, he said that many of these practitioners died after their organs were removed for profit".

To explain what Falun Gong is, the article continued, "Falun Gong is a practice of mind and body. Practicing Falun Gong which is based on Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance principles can not only improve one’s health but also uplift one’s morality and mind nature. Currently, there are more than one hundred million practitioners around the world".

On June 27th, the second largest Turkish newspaper Sabh reported the protest. The article also reviewed the history of Falun Gong and the persecution.

The article wrote, "Falun Gong was introduced to the public in 1992 by Mr. Li Hongzhi. In just a few years, more than a hundred million Chinese people were practicing Falun Gong in China. Currently, Falun Gong is practiced by people from near eighty countries. In 1999, viewing Falun Gong as a threat to its power, the Chinese government banned the practice and started to crack down on practitioners using all kinds of torture methods. Falun Gong practitioners have been subjected to abduction, unlawful detention and inhumane treatments. Tens of thousands practitioners have been cremated after their organs were removed. There organs were sold to foreigners for high prices".

At the end of the article, the reporter wrote, "With peaceful and elegant music playing, participants of the protest concluded the protest with a demonstration of their slow and peaceful exercises".

Haberler.com, Kanal Turk TV, Kanal A TV, and Fox TV also reported the protest. Among them, the report on Kanal Turk TV was twenty minutes long, giving a detailed introduction to Falun Gong, the persecution and organ harvesting atrocities.
