Turkey: Practitioners Raise Awareness about Falun Gong in a Seaside Town

On July 5th and 6th, Turkish Falun Gong practitioners were invited to go to Antalya, a seaside city in the south, to raise awareness about the Falun Gong and the persecution of the practice by the Chinese Communist Party.

A group of people had visited the Turkish Falun Gong website in the past. Some of them are deeply attracted by the fantastic stories of those who have become healthy through practising Falun Gong published on the website; and some of them are very much interested in the principle of “Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance”, the central principles of Falun Gong. Finally, through discussion, all of them had decided to invite Falun Gong practitioners to teach them the exercises.

When they arrived at Antalya, the practitioners were warmly welcomed. The practitioners taught them the five sets of Falun Gong exercises during the day and in the evenings they shared their experiences about their cultivation, and answered questions.

For those who came to learn Falun Gong, they all felt very cordial and happy when staying and doing the exercises together with Falun Gong practitioners. Among them, several of them said that they were not sure why they could not help their eyes brimming with tears. When learning the exercises, a person who had been meticulous in learning held the hand of a practitioner and said very seriously: “I feel that Falun Gong is so important to me.”

Some others kept on expressing their gratitude to the practitioners and said: “It was the right time for you to come Antalya.” When learning about the principle of practising only one cultivation way, two people who previously practised other qigong initiatively expressed that they would throw away all books about other qigong and only practise Falun Gong in future.

In these two days, the people, who personally experienced the goodness and peacefulness of Falun Gong, felt very sad about the fact that Falun Gong practitioners in mainland China are suffering from ill-treatment and inhuman torture. They also expressed their strong indignation at the persecution of the righteous belief by the CCP and they said that they would do what they could to support Falun Gong practitioners in order to end the evil persecution as soon as possible.
