Turkey: The Art of Truth, Compassion and Tolerance Draws Attention from the Media

From January 10th - 22nd, 2009, an exhibition entitled the Art of Truth, Compassion and Tolerance was held in Mersin, a city in southern Turkey. It was not only well received by visitors from all walks of life but also drew the attention from some major media. Many local newspapers, magazines and televisions reported on the event before and during the show.

“Hurriyet”(Free Press), a major newspaper, was the first one to report the news that the Art of Truth, Compassion and Tolerance would be held. It carried a photo of two of the paintings featured in the show, one was “Tragedy in China” and another was “The Call of Innocence”. While introducing the exhibition, Yeni Guney used nearly half a page telling what Falun Dafa (also called Falun Gong) was and what benefits Falun Dafa could bring to cultivators both physically and spiritually.

Haber.vg carried an article entitled “International Art Exhibition” which said, “The works on the Art Exhibition have been created by a group of highly successful artists. Through cultivating Falun Dafa, these artists have improved themselves both physically and spiritually. They have further understood the true meaning of life in the universe and found out the key to the exploration of life and art which they have been seeking for a long time.”

In addition to that, media such as Icel Sanat Kulubu Dergisi (Arts club Magazine), Ufukturu (Travel the Horizon), LPGHaber(LPG News), Kenthaber (City News) and SUN RTV (Sun TV) also reported the Art Exhibition one after another and spoke highly of the works by these artists.
