On Saturday November 21, 2009, about one thousand European Falun Gong practitioners rallied at Chinatown in Belleville, Paris, to expose the Chinese Communist Party's ten-year-long brutal persecution of Falun Gong.
There was also a grand parade through Chinatown ending at Hotel de Ville, where the city government is located. Many people watched the parade along the roads. Some Chinese people took photos with cameras and cell phones.
