The 13th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council is being held in Geneva from March 1 to 26, 2010. This year, the Falun Gong Human Rights Working Group (FLGHR) invited four Falun Gong practitioners who experienced brutal persecution in China to expose the CCP's crimes.

Victims of CCP persecution: Mr. Hongchang Liu, Ms. Huimin Wang, Ms. Siyi Fang and Mr. Jufeng Guo (from left to right)

The four practitioners are Ms. Huimin Wang, artist and vice director of the Department of Art Editing of Huangcheng Press, Ms. Siyi Fang, Mr. Jufeng Guo, an engineer, and Mr. Hongchang Liu, a resident of Holland. They further exposed the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong with their own experiences.

FLGHR compiled a report entitled, "The CCP's Torture of Falun Gong Practitioners with Drugs" to expose the CCP's crimes in using neuro-toxic drugs to torture Falun Gong practitioners. The report was submitted to the special rapporteurs of human rights and representatives from each country. The report describes 1088 cases of healthy Falun Gong practitioners being tortured by the CCP with toxic drugs, and lists more than 200 hospitals in China that participate in the persecution.

FLGHR spokesperson Mr. Shizhong Chen said of the report, "The purpose of our compilation of the report is to help the international community know more clearly about the CCP's brutal persecution of Falun Gong. The report includes documented cases. The information was brought out of China through various means, sometimes at risk of life. But this is just the tip of the iceberg. There are many Falun Gong practitioners receiving similar persecution. The actual situation is more serious than just those listed in the report."

Ms. Fang, who lives in Finland now, was tortured between April and July in 2001. Secret agents of the Jilin 610 Office and Number 465 army injected her with unidentified drugs, which led to shock, tongue stiffness, slower heart beat, agony, hallucination, and blurred vision. The CCP's doctors even wanted to conduct surgery on her under the excuse of intestinal adhesion, but her family members arrived in time and refused to sign the agreement, so the surgery was cancelled. She said, "After I came overseas, I realized that they possibly wanted to conduct live organ removal on me."

Ms. Wang was arrested 7 times in China for her practice of Falun Gong. She held a hunger strike for four months to protest the CCP's persecution. She was force-fed with unknown drugs, which led to masculine changes, such as enlarged Adam's apple, beard, and dark hair on her limbs. She was deprived of sleep for nine consecutive days with only one hour of sleep each day. She was confined in a room for three days under high volume noise. She almost collapsed.

Mr. Chen pointed out, "All those people involved in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners with drugs are committing crimes. Those doctors involved are doing things without medical ethics. We call on the UN, governmental and non-governmental organizations and all people of conscience to work together to stop the crimes, and deny the entry of those doctors to democratic countries."

The Human Rights Council is an inter-governmental body within the UN system made up of 47 States responsible for strengthening the promotion and protection of human rights around the globe. During regular sessions, human rights representatives and numerous international non-governmental organizations gather to talk about human rights issues. FLGHR conducts relevant events on the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong during the meetings.
