On December 3rd, 2011, Falun Gong practitioners in Japan gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy in Tokyo. They held banners reading “Falun Dafa Is Good,” “Disintegrate the CCP and End the Persecution,” and “Take Down the Chinese Embassy's Website That Slanders Falun Gong.”

Since the persecution started in 1999, every year on New Year's Eve, practitioners in Japan have gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy to protest the persecution. Japanese police stationed there admire the practitioners. They say, “All our police officers here are disgusted with the CCP. You are different from other groups - you are always peaceful. Only the Falun Gong group is like that.”

Practitioners stood quietly despite the winter wind. A representative for the Japanese Falun Dafa Association said that over the past 13 years of the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party, the Chinese Embassy has been following the Party's lead, spreading lies on its website and maliciously slandering Falun Gong. The representative hopes that the Japanese community will learn the facts and help stop the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
