  • Review of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in Early 2012: Arrests, Torture, Deaths

Heilongjiang Women's Prison guards forced Ms. Liu Deqing, a 60-year-old physician from the Hailun Health Centre, to sit still on a small stool all day long, from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Inmates pricked her with toothpicks and beat her hard with planks or brushes. After more than two years of brutality, she had all-over oedema. Her abdomen had swelled, like someone who is seven months pregnant. Ms. Liu died on November 27th, 2011.
  • Chen Xin on Hunger Strike in Jinzhou Prison to Protest Persecution; His Family Not Allowed to See Him for Three Years

Chen Xin, a Falun Gong practitioner from Dalian, was sentenced to 13 years in prison in 2002. He has been held in Jinzhou Prison for ten years. Recently Cui Yuanqi, section leader of the First Ward, and team leader Liu Hongwei tried to force Mr. Chen to be “transformed” (to give up his belief). They held him in solitary confinement. Mr. Chen has been on a hunger strike for over a month to protest the persecution.
  • Lin Jilong from Shaanxi Put on Trial; Unknown Man Advises Judge in Court

On April 17th, The Weibin District Court in Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, held a trial for Falun Gong practitioner Lin Jilong. In court, the judge kept asking an unknown man in black for his opinion. When Mr. Lin spoke of Falun Gong, the man in black even commanded the judge, “Get him out!” The so-called trial ended in disgrace.
  • Investigation Lead: Multiple Kidney Transplants with Unknown Donors at the No. 1 Hospital Affiliated with Jilin University

It is common knowledge that an organ considered for transplant must be of matching tissue type between donor and recipient. (In developed countries such as the U.S., the waiting time for a prospective transplant patient is several years, sometimes as long as ten years). It was recently reported that multiple kidney transplant surgeries were performed at the No. 1 Hospital affiliated with Jilin University in Changchun, Jilin Province. Two transplants were done each day in early March 2009, which is cause for concern. Where do the organs come from? It makes one suspect that the live organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners is still happening in China.
  • Mr. Chi Yaocai and Other Practitioners in Critical Condition at the Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp

Officials at the Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp have intensified the persecution of Mr. Chi Yaocai and other Falun Gong practitioners since January 2012. Many practitioners have been confined in solitary cells, shocked with electric batons, beaten, and had their terms extended. Mr. Chi Yaocai has symptoms of high blood pressure and his life is in danger. At least three other practitioners have been persecuted to the verge of death.
  • People's Liberation Army General Logistics Department Responsible for Harvesting Organs

After the suppression of Falun Gong started, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Central Military Commission conducted six special meetings on "Handling Foreign Religious Issues." The Logistics Department followed Jiang Zemin's [former leader of China and instigator of the persecution] instructions for "Physically annihilating Falun Gong practitioners." The marketing of human organs became a highly profitable business for the military, approved and encouraged by Jiang. The orders for removing organs from living practitioners came directly from the Chair of the Military Commission. The General Logistics Department ordered blood tests on practitioners, then arrested them all over the country and processed them. Utilising military transportation, personnel and forced labour camps built on military facilities, the Logistics Department (LD) became the state live-organ bank.
  • Paralysed from the Neck Down, Zhou Jiangang Still Held in Undisclosed Location after Ten Years in Prison

January 10th, 2012 should have been the day that Falun Gong practitioner Zhou Jiangang was reunited with his family after ten years in prison. However, instead of releasing him, the Wuhan local government continued to hold him in an undisclosed location. Throughout the ten years of imprisonment, Zhou Jiangang suffered inhuman treatment. He almost lost his life. On April 25th, 2006, he was forced to face the wall in handcuffs and shackles. Guards ordered criminal inmates to hit Mr. Zhou with a heavy object from behind, causing compound fracture of his 6th and 7th cervical vertebra; he passed out immediately.
  • Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Tan Jinhui, 67, from Sichuan Province Passed Away Due to Persecution

Over the past ten years, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Tan Jinhui from Sichuan Province was continually persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) because of her belief. Her home was ransacked, she was detained, send to forced labour, a brainwashing centre and prison. Ms. Tan passed away on September 25th, 2011, after a long period of physical deterioration brought on by abuse in detention. She was 67 years old.
  • Falun Gong Practitioners Systematically Murdered for Their Organs: Refuting the Chinese Regime's "Death Row" Explanation, Preface and Table of Contents

Between 1999 and 2007, China's organ transplant market experienced rapid growth. In 2003, the number of organ transplants in China mushroomed. From 2003 to 2006, a record number of overseas "organ transplant tourists" rushed to China, attracted by the incredibly short average waiting periods of only one to two weeks, compared to waiting periods ranging from two to three years in other countries. This begs the question: Where did all these transplant-ready organs come from? In March 2006, when a whistleblower alerted the world to the possibility of live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China, a potentially new source of organs emerged.
  • “Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting” Urges the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to Provide Accurate and Verifiable Organ Transplant Statistics

Doctors Against Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) , an organization founded by medical doctors from all over the world, published a petition to Dr. Chen Zhu, Chinese Minister of Heath on its official website, requesting China (Chinese Communist Party) to provide accurate and transparent statistics and documentation of the source of organs in China to the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Medical Association (WMA) and The Transplantation Society (TTS). The organization stressed that discrepancies in the transplantation figures have raised concerns that in China organs are systematically harvested from unwilling living people.
  • Ms. Wang Yuzhuo, a Physician from Heilongjiang Province, about to Complete Her 10-Year Prison Term

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Yuzhuo was sentenced to ten years in prison in 2002. Her term expired on May 1st, 2012. Her family has been contacted to pick her up, but they are worried that the local 610 Office agents (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong) may take Ms. Wang directly to a brainwashing centre instead of releasing her. During the ten years of imprisonment, Ms. Wang was subjected to severe physical abuse and torture. She was once forced to sit on a small stool facing a wall all day long without moving. She was also forced to stand still for long periods of time. She was hung up by handcuffs and suspended from a roof beam, with only the tips of her toes touching the ground.
  • Chongqing Practitioner Mr. Zhang Jingzhi's Account of the Persecution Directed by Bo Xilai

For protesting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong, Mr. Zhang Jingzhi from Chongqing was subjected to brutal persecution directed by Bo Xilai and Wang Lijun. He was arrested and sentenced to a three-year prison term in August 2009, and subjected to severe beatings and "fatal torture" while imprisoned.
  • First-Hand Experience of Brutality at Fanjiatai Prison

In March 2011, fourth ward warden Xiao Tianbo forced practitioners to perform slave labour. Mr. Liu Lin wrote a refusal letter, saying that we are practitioners, not criminals, and we refuse to perform slave labour. Deputy instructor Wang Jie led a group of people to the cell and slandered Falun Gong. I stood up to stop him. He was afraid, and he looked at the other four or five inmates and instructed them to push me onto the bed and to not allow me to speak. They kicked me in the head, waist, and chest for half an hour. I could not stand and was on the edge of losing consciousness. They were afraid and wanted to hold me up, but I could only fall over. This repeated several times. It was like I was almost in a coma.
  • Tortured in Banqiao Forced Labour Camp in Tianjin City, Ms. Wang Ruihua's Situation Worsens

Since Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Ruihua was arrested and detained at Banqiao Women's Forced Labour Camp in Tianjin last year, she has been subjected to mental and physical torture. Her situation is critical, as she has become emaciated, has difficulty swallowing food, has fainted a few time, and, because she is so weak, she can hardly walk. Her family has demanded her release and asked to bail her out for medical treatment many times, but the police have refused to comply. The explanation they gave was that Ms. Wang refused to be “transformed” [forcibly renounce Falun Gong].
  • Mr. Zhang Beiqi Given Additional Seven-Year Sentence After Eight Years of Wrongful Imprisonment and Torture

“Four days and three nights of torture made me lose consciousness. They poured cold water over my body and opened the window to freeze me. They pulled me along the ground, dragging me by my hair. They beat me with their fists. When they saw that I had lost consciousness, they tried to remove me from the tiger bench from where I fell onto the floor. They produced the prepared statements and forced my fingers onto the paper to get my fingerprints, taking advantage of the fact that I was unconscious. These statements turned out to be what they wanted.” A small part of Mr. Zhang Beiqi’s description of his interrogation.
