The vengefulness towards my family members shows that Jiang fears that his crimes will be revealed and the facts of the persecution will be exposed. Retaliation only strengthens my determination to expose the genocide committed by Jiang Zemin's regime, to bear witness to their criminal conduct, and to use legal means to bring the criminals to justice. The retaliation only adds new evidence to the lawsuit.

The regime has intensified its efforts to discredit, arrest, torture, and imprison those Falun Gong practitioners who have courageously exposed and publicised the truth about the persecution. It is time to bring the world's attention to the crimes and atrocities committed by Jiang's communist regime. We hope people everywhere will awaken to the truth behind the cover up and stand up for justice.

For a period of time in the past, I felt myself being separated from other practitioners. When I started to think over this issue, I realised that I was preoccupied solely with doing Dafa work myself. It was merely a formality for me to go to the exercise site. It seemed that I studied Fa seriously and also exchanged opinions with other fellow practitioners. In my heart, however, I was in a hurry to go home to do my own work.

Comparing myself with these practitioners, I knew that they had a stronger faith than me; in spite of recognising this, I still failed to do well right away. Later, I recalled that when we once discussed our work, someone mentioned the following: Some young Western Dafa practitioners have been living in societies that believe in gods, and their faith in and respect of gods comes naturally and without competing thoughts.

The Chinese dictator absolutely does not represent China or the Chinese people, and he most definitely does not represent the Chinese civilization. On the contrary, this cruel dictator is destroying China, persecuting the kindest group of Chinese people, undermining the Chinese civilization's morality, and threatening the future and interests of the world's people.

We stayed at home for four weeks, I witnessed them steadily building up a solid and correct view of Dafa. I felt that slander was the last thing which the Jiang evil regime could do to fool the people in Ethiopia. Our practitioners around the world have seen through their attempt, and clarified the truth everywhere. Every single person is waiting for the moment when they can learn of the truth.

During this period I started to turn from thinking of “macro issues” to cultivating myself seriously and solidly. I realized that I am a person with a strong ego. It is not correct, and is dangerous to hold this notion during cultivation. When I found it and tried to eliminate it, I found it was very painful because it filled every single cell of mine. During the process of eliminating it, I clearly felt a huge piece of karma were lying over me. It interfered with me creating a false illusion every minute and strengthened my notion of my ego.

Many practitioners were fortunate enough to witness the magnificence of Falun Dafa on a trip to the European Experience Sharing Conference in Geneva, in March 2003. Luis is a Spanish man who is about 27 years old. He had been studying the Fa for only a month when he went to Geneva and was still suffering from a badly fractured finger from before he learned to practise...

A few policemen came out of the van and demanded her to get in the van. She stood there and just looked at them. They searched her pockets and took her money. Dayi put out one of her hands in front of the policeman and he was taken aback. He then put the money back in her hand. The policeman said to her, "Just tell us who your work unit is. You don't have to tell us your name." Dayi just ignored them. They waited a little, went back to the van and drove away. As if nothing had happened, Dayi finished what she had to do, went on to buy some breakfast and went home.

One practitioner said, "Why is it that a couple is able to resolve their differences a few days after an argument? Because they are one family. No matter how heated their arguments are, they are one family, that is, one whole body. The husband and wife know each other’s hearts. Then why do we feel that we can get along well with only some practitioners instead of all practitioners? Why can’t our whole body reach a genuine harmony?..."

Group Fa-study and experience-sharing is a fundamental way and environment given by Master Li for us to help improve our xinxing. In addition to talking about one’s own xinxing cultivation, one’s own problems that one sees through studying the Fa, and how one has improved oneself under the guidance of the Fa, practitioners also need to point out other practitioners’ problems with a compassionate heart.

The Falun Dafa practitioners' clear voices were solemn and benevolent, echoing to all the corridors in the detention centre and warming every persons heart. The prisoners broke into tears that showed their appreciation and respect for the practitioners.

My sister-in-law often visits my home. She has seen the improvements in the physical health and xinxing (heart or mind nature, moral character) of my mother-in-law after she started to cultivate Dafa. She is not misled by the deceitful programs on TV that slander Dafa. She has read Dafa books and has helped pass Master's new articles to other practitioners.

Our Assistant Manager often asks me to bring her all Dafa books and our Master’s recent articles. We talk about everything happening in the world every day and each of us sticks to our own view. Some talk from a deeper level, while others talk in a relatively shallow way. All of my colleagues hold a good attitude toward Falun Gong. They all saw a video that clarified the facts made by our fellow practitioners, and brought up some quite valuable opinions.

Now the murderer even attempts to use the "law" to put illegally arrested American citizen Charles Li on trial. The "law" that they toy with does not represent justice at all, but is the law of Nazi-ism, the law of Stalin, and is a butcher knife used to persecute kind people. The murderer, Jiang Zemin and his accomplices should be the ones on trial to face true justice.

Realising that this was a good opportunity , I unfolded a banner that said, "The Fa Rectifies the Cosmos." After the police took the first one away, I unfolded another one that said, "Falun Dafa is Good." Then after the police seized and searched me, I opened yet another two banners that said, "Restore Teacher's Good Name" and "Restore Dafa's Good Name," at different times.

Certainly, cultivation is the process of continuous improvements. If we are able to step forward to take part in Fa-spreading activities, then we are making progress. Nevertheless, while we are doing Dafa work, we must continuously improve our own xinxing level at the same time. The more we cultivate the righteous Fa, the more our personal cultivation can catch up with the progress of the Fa.

When I exchanged my understandings with some of these fellow practitioners, I found quite a few fellow practitioners haven’t directly clarified the truth to Chinese people for a long time. Some of them are nervous when talking about telling the truth to Chinese people, and some of them even never tell the truth actively.

As a disciple, I think that our first thought should be how to help our fellow practitioners. Whether those practitioners do well or not is a different matter. Our first thought is the manifestation of our realm. Enormous compassion is the manifestation of an enlightened being's realm. As Dafa disciples, we should care about every particle of the whole body.

I think that we should help people to see the larger picture rather than focusing on smaller details, such as the accusations made by Jiang's regime. The accusations are not what is most important because they are usually groundless, using all sorts lies to cover up their illegal persecution of Falun Gong.

I realised that it was not important whether I could pass through Customs; what was more important was to clarify the facts about the persecution of Dafa to more people through this event. It might be a good chance to clarify the truth to the people involved in this event. I conveyed my understanding to my fellow practitioners: “No matter whether I can enter Switzerland or not, we should explain the facts to them; we should not be interfered by any factor..."

Whenever I hear or see such news [of Dafa practitioners being persecuted or interfered with] my first thought is to eliminate the persecution by the evil, because such persecution of Dafa practitioners should not be allowed. We should regard whatever happens to fellow practitioners (no matter where they come from) as happening to ourselves, and this is the righteous thought that a Dafa practitioner, as part of one body, should have.

On weekends several of us young practitioners usually gather together to call college students in China. During casual phone conversations, we make use of the wisdom we have gained through our Falun Dafa cultivation. We clarify the truth, letting these students know the true nature of the persecution against Falun Dafa. Some practitioners express their feelings from their hearts: "Falun Dafa is good!"

As a Falun Dafa practitioner, I can feel that the environment of my work unit changed when I did things based on Dafa, when I continuously clarified the facts about Falun Dafa, when I completed my work calmly and tolerantly despite the unfair assignment with such a deadline, and when I did it without thinking of personal gains and losses.

From Monday to Friday, we appealed outside the German Federal Parliament. One day something unexpected happened; a man would not allow us to hang the banners in the area where he wanted carry out another appeal. He has been carrying out an appeal during the whole winter for those victims persecuted to death in the time of the dictatorship in East Germany.

If we are attached to the superficial kindness of everyday people and do not comply with providence to protect the truth of the universe with various kinds of means, doesn’t it deviate from “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance”?! It is genuine Shan only to firmly stand up for the truth of the universe, expose Jiang Zemin’s sins and let people know the facts.

The room head said, "At the beginning, I didn't know what Falun Gong was. All the prisoners and Falun Dafa practitioners here were beaten alike. But as I came into contact with more Falun Dafa practitioners, I saw that they never complained and they held no hatred. I saw them always giving the best things to others. We have seen these things, and we have admired you truly in our hearts.

He said, “Then we should put it up. Because Falun Dafa is good, there is no reason the banner should be on the ground.” He then tacked it up onto a telegraph pole. He picked up the other banner and asked people to read it. Everybody replied, “Falun Dafa is righteous!” He would then exclaim, “Since Falun Dafa is righteous, we should put it up as well.” The butcher proceeded to put up the banner for everyone to see.

I realise that if I were to lose my rationality under the relentless torture of the evil, and to write any document of guarantee, strictly speaking, the self that writes the document is not my true self! Just like when we sit in meditation, we want to achieve the state of tranquility, but notions keep popping up in the mind. These notions are not my true self. I should treat them as something separate from myself.

Whenever a problem like this arises, we need to realise that we haven't clarified the truth enough, then we need to adjust our plans to carefully deal with the problem. We should explain the related facts to the people and the governmental departments that are directly or indirectly involved. In this way, we will not only solve the problem itself, but also not restrain ourselves by focusing too narrowly on the details of a specific problem.

Because of his actions and effort, the cell head decided to dedicate the daily "sitting period" of several hours as truth-telling time, asking Falun Dafa practitioners to talk about Falun Dafa. People's minds that were lost in the maze started to become sober. As a result, whenever the TV broadcasted any news slandering Falun Dafa, the whole cell would complain, "No, no, we don't want to watch this!"

Charles Li's case is only one part of the persecution of Falun Gong by Jiang's regime. This time, it has extended to an American citizen. Therefore, I think we need to expose the nature of the persecution. Our basic purpose is for Charles Li's release, but it is not our only purpose. We need to take this opportunity to clarify the truth to people more thoroughly and extensively.

Looking at my surroundings, I see many Dafa disciples quietly doing a lot of good deeds; their understandings of the Fa usually enlighten me as well. Nevertheless, when I suggest they write down their understandings, many people say that they don’t have time, or they can’t write. Some even say they don’t want to develop attachments such as showing off and zealotry, or they fear other people may think their understandings are at a low level.

Each local newspaper may have only a circulation of a few thousand, or tens of thousands, but local residents trust these news sources because they relate directly to their own local situations. These people may ignore international news in big newspapers, but they read local news carefully, because it's close to them. Once, after a report about our workshop was published together with the next class schedule, about 50 people came to the second workshop.

Whenever a Dafa disciple in Mainland China is persecuted to death at a forced labour camp, brainwashing class, etc, we, all of the other Dafa disciples, will quickly expose those evil people who directly plotted and gave orders for the persecution, as well as those who directly participated in the persecution. We will document and publish to the world the personal information such as names, gender, age, job title, workplace, etc, of the evil people who have committed these crimes.

Do the things we do in everyday society reflect our respect? When people see and talk to us we are truly a reflection of our Master and not only of our own levels. When we are careless of action and deeds then isn’t that disrespect? The way we dress, talk, and communicate...To slow down and calm our minds, show compassion in the worst situations and check our xinxing [heart nature]--would then be not only respectful of others but also showing respect to our Master.

When I spent lots of time studying the Fa and practising the exercises, I accomplished more work with efficiency. I required less sleep because my thoughts were more steadfast, persistent and powerful. When I postponed studying the Fa and practising, placing them as my second priority due to lots of Dafa work, I just sat there killing time, feeling weak and depressed. I could not do my work well and wasted lots of time.

'The illegal suppression and brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China has lasted for over three years. Many people have very wrong understandings about Falun Gong. They try to prove the oppression is right in certain ways, and all of those incorrect notions arise from someone’s personal desires, evil thoughts and aspirations. People even know that what they have done is wrong. Nevertheless, they still do it unscrupulously.'

Before I finished talking, he shouted, “Book! I want a copy of the book. Can you find me a book? I cannot find it anywhere.” I was pleasantly surprised by his exclamation. I sensed the excitement in my heart. Then he said, “I enquired about the books of Falun Gong in a Chinese bookshop. The lady there opposed my idea. I told her what Falun Gong was all about and Falun Gong was good.”

Although the festival grounds were situated in the city centre, it was in a relatively quiet street. At first I did not have too high hopes, intending to give out as many flyers as there were pedestrians. However unexpectedly, the usually quiet street was bustling with people today. Very soon, I ran out of flyers and had to rush to a nearby shop to make photocopies.

Something strange happened that evening, it was a very hot summer and all of the windows were open. After finishing the exercises the weather got windy and it started to rain. I saw people speaking quietly with each other and I asked what was going on. One of them told me that Tehran had not had any rain for several months and the rain was a good sign and they thought Falun Gong had to be a good method, because the heavens had sent them the rain.

For the past few days, I felt it more and more likely that the problem actually resided in myself - that I had not started to do it myself. I tried to do a calculation, based on what I had done in sending righteous thoughts 3 out of 4 times a day. If there exist 100 million practitioners worldwide like me, what is the possibility of practitioners as a whole sending forth righteous thoughts all at the same time? The answer is almost zero.

The corrupt authorities hired people to monitor a female Falun Dafa practitioner, who was over 50 years old, on so-called "sensitive" days. Despite this, she continued to put up posters everywhere. Finally, one night, the pair that followed her moved a bed up against the only exit from her home. After the monitors fell sleep, the practitioner opened the door, moved the bed aside, and pushed it back after she left.

In the principals office, Ms Zhang asked us, "Do you practise Falun Gong?" We said, "Yes." She mentioned the self-immolation incident, so I explained the facts to her. I told her, "We don't set ourselves on fire. Nothing in Zhuan Falun indicates that we should kill ourselves. The report on the self-immolation was false." Then the other practitioner talked to her more about Falun Gong. When the bell rang, Ms. Zhang said to us, "You can go back to your classroom now."

Master Li’s insight and the power of the Fa penetrated beyond the depths of my depression and despair. As Master talked about dimensions and other phenomena, I instantly accepted it, and found it fascinating. This time there was no doubt in my mind that “The Buddha Fa is most profound”! I felt better than I had done in years, and this was only in the space of a couple of hours.

Then if we don’t think like this - I’m a German disciple, he is a Swiss disciple, you are a Dutch disciple etc. - but instead think that we are all European disciples, we will truly form a whole body in Europe. Thus, the government work regarding the EU and UN is naturally our incumbent responsibility. If we can go further, we are not European disciples, not American disciples, Taiwanese disciples, but Dafa disciples who are undertaking Fa-rectification, then we will understand the obligations that we bear.

Why didn’t I identify a fake practitioner as other fellow practitioners did? What gap do we have that made her choose to attempt to damage us? After sharing with fellow practitioners, I have gradually come to understand. Here I write down the details of what I have been through, as it might help us dig out the evil in ourselves from the complications of the superficialities.

While driving to Switzerland to take part in the activities held during the United Nations’ human rights conference, we were stopped on the border to present our passports to the policeman. The passports visa of one fellow practitioner was found to have expired. He was unable to go through Customs. We, nine practitioners, discussed this matter together...

"We have received Falun Gong flyers, and watched Falun Gong Video-CDroms. We like them very much. But the media said exactly the opposite to you; we don't know what to believe. We thought we would get a chance to personally find out what kind of people practitioners are. Today our wish has been realised. Falun Gong practitioners are beautiful."

I obtained the Fa through a Chinese neighbour. After reading Zhuan Falun from cover to cover, my question was answered. The words are simple and easy to understand, but the principles are profound. When combined with modern science, it expounds the great principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance, unraveling the riddles which mankind has puzzled for tens of thousands of years. I was full of joy and learned the exercises without delay and thus started my cultivation.
