June 12 report: suing Jiang through legal means is undoubtedly a significant milestone in the Fa-rectification period prior to the arrival of Fa-rectification in the human world. At the same time as we try to hold a trial of justice in court, we also clarify the truth to people of the world to enable them to try him for the atrocities he committed before the court of justice and in the court of conscience.

Some problems look simple, yet we encounter barriers on our cultivation path that cannot be surmounted for a long time. If we look inward with calm hearts, however, we find that our own cultivation is not pure in light of the requirements of Fa-rectification where those problematic issues are concerned; we have not achieved the realm of complete selflessness.

Our determination in cultivation is not something which can be subject to what happens on our path of cultivation – no matter how much we stumble and fall, no matter how tough things are, we should not hesitate in our resolve. We cannot allow any notions about falling and stumbling to influence our resolve. True determination does not mean that we are determined to succeed without falling on the way, nor does it mean that we will succeed at once. It means that whatever happens and however much we stumble, that we never loose faith in our ability to succeed, and our fundamental resolve to succeed.

Another time, his son was driving a small truck, and crashed into a giant Dongfeng Truck [a well-known large-sized truck made in China]. The smaller vehicle was damaged and his son was hurt. Everyone around said that the driver of the large truck should pay a fine for this. When the police chief arrived, the practitioner said, "That person didn't cause this accident on purpose. Just repair the truck. My son will be all right and their is no need to pay a fine." The driver was very thankful. When the police chief saw this touching scene, he said: "This man is a very kind man, only thinking of others without even a bit of selfishness." The practitioner told the crowd: "Everyone who practises Falun Gong does such things, thanks to the Dafa that Teacher has taught us."

Although we may feel that a piece of news is not big and not worth writing an article about, I think we should look at in terms of how we can help achieve an overall effect. For a daily website, we need news every day. Each contribution is truly valuable, no matter how small, and will contribute to making the site strong that day. Even though an activity or letter is not major on its own, if you write an article about it, then when it appears alongside another 7 or 8 articles that day from different places in Europe, then the effect is really great, and the readers will really feel - Falun Dafa is so wide-spread and accepted across Europe - look what is happening every day!. So, we really should consider the importance of writing articles as part of a larger picture, rather than worrying that something isn't such strong news on its own.

I suddenly discovered that the inner meaning contained in Zhuan Falun is truly boundless. It all depends on how pure your heart is...The more we study the Fa the purer our minds and thoughts will be. We will be more assimilated with Dafa, and be more capable of distinguishing the righteous from evil.

The most important thing, from my experience, is studying the Fa. Whenever I study the Fa well, it will go smoothly when I call China. While making calls, I can feel my righteous thoughts are very strong, my heart is completely for the well being of others and I only think in my heart how to save others.

I haven't done very well in cooperating to use the lawsuit against Jiang as a tool in clarifying the truth. I have discovered that the reason deep in my heart is that my understanding of the Fa is not in harmony with the current status of the Fa-rectification, and accordingly, I haven't paid enough attention to this issue.

What Dr. Charles Li wanted to do was expose the Jiang regime's crimes to the light of day. Usually, evil forces hide themselves and are afraid of sunlight. Exposing their crimes is the most effective way of stopping the spread of crimes. If the facts of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners are widely exposed in China, the rights of Falun Gong practitioners will be vindicated, and the Chinese people's rights will also be vindicated. All Chinese people would benefit from this.

The decision the judge will soon make is not merely a ruling reached during a routine legal proceeding; in fact it determines whether millions upon millions can be saved. The old forces will never let any opportunity to do damage pass.As Dafa practitioners, we are shouldering an important historical responsibility. Every thought of ours and every second during this critical period are of vital importance.

To declare that all the mistakes I made are null and void is fundamentally negating the old force's arrangements, and is a heavy blow to the evil -- a blow that they fear the most. Teacher said in Zhuan Falun, "But with the thought of doing cultivation, just with this wish in their minds, it shines like gold and shakes the Ten-Directional World". The same situation occurs when we truly recognise the importance of "solemn declarations." That thought shines like gold, and shakes the Ten-directional world.

What Jiang Zemin hates is the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance", something that people everywhere have embraced. The very people he has been madly trying to eradicate are those who practise "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" in their daily lives, Falun Gong practitioners. Because of his personal jealousy and his insecurity about his power, he decided to use any means that he could to unleash his personal vendetta, fanning and spreading hatred and prejudice. Isn't this someone that the humanity should be ashamed of?

I stayed with Westerner, Canadian organisers. They generously let me help a little in the writing of an opening speech for the Vancouver parade and I sent righteous thoughts whilst the media volunteer contacted journalists by phone. I thought I’d learn a lot from their techniques but they are in many ways no more sophisticated than we, but they are much more open. This gives a purity that is harder to tarnish with hidden attachments. They are much more honest about conflicts.

Having no other avenue to appeal my unjust treatment, I shouted loudly: "I practise Falun Gong! Please come and take a look. The policemen are unreasonable. They went to my home and confiscated all my books. I was lame for 25 years, and had taken tons of medicines that did not work, yet I have practised Falun Gong for only three months, and all my illnesses have been cured. My Teacher is the greatest! They treat our Teacher and Falun Gong unjustly!" As soon as I raised my voice, the security guard was frightened and quickly ran away. Many passersby surrounded me and so I clarified the truth about Falun Gong to them.

I vividly remember again what happened half an hour later and the eternal moment is indelibly etched on my mind: I stood up and walked to the centre of Tian An Men Square. I could hear nothing. At that very moment, there was only Dafa, the banner and myself. I took the banner out of the map, waved it above my head, and shouted loudly and wholeheartedly, “Falun Dafa is good.” I shall always remember these few seconds. A couple of policemen came afterward and tried to knock me down.

The persecution has reached over 60 countries and wrecked the lives and happiness of countless people. More importantly, Jiang's persecution has not stopped at Falun Gong. Through his campaign of persecution and slander against Falun Gong, Jiang is in fact also deceiving and harming people all over the world; he has wreaked havoc upon people's pursuit of higher moral standards, and suppressed people's good conscience -- the damage done to all of human society has been immeasurable.

Some government agencies started to investigate us secretly, especially towards some Dafa practitioners at management levels. They talked with us, showed "consideration" towards us, and warned that we needed to pay attention to our "influence," etc. I once asked them, "Our practise aims at being a better person, and improving physical health. Plus, we have been doing well at work. How can there be any negative influences?" They had nothing to say. That is to say, the hidden persecution, as we know it, already started as early as the beginning of 1998.

Among attendees in the class were retirees over 60 year old, elementary school students of a little over ten years old, plus some practitioners who were just back to practising Falun Dafa for a few days after giving up for several years. While listening to Teacher Li's lectures, practitioners were deeply moved. Many practitioners said: "We haven't heard Teacher Li's voice for so many years. How kind and great this is!"

Mr. An was responsible for a several hundred million Yuan investment. The wicked people could not believe that he hadn't made a single mistake in handling such a large amount of money. They investigated Mr. An only to find that Mr An should have reported several thousands Yuan worth of receipts as expenses owed by the work unit to him. In the end, the section leader who was responsible for the investigation had to admit admirably: "Cadres as pure as you no longer exist anymore, it is such a pity." Although Mr. An was so pure and righteous, he was stripped of all his titles and responsibilities.

It's hard to describe the last class that Teacher gave in words. In fact, the class was not publicly known and only a few people from different places knew about it. Even so, more than 7,000 practitioners attended. The gymnasium couldn't hold that many people so the veteran local practitioners gave 1,000 of their own tickets to those from other places. When the class started, there were still 400-500 people sitting outside the gymnasium in order to listen to the lecture.

Over the last two years, these two practitioners have been carrying out work to clarify the truth and help fellow practitioners silently and diligently no matter how dangerous the environment. Facing the police's surveillance, trapping, and searching, they never thought of their own safety when delivering the materials. With their firm belief in Teacher and Dafa, as well as the rationality and wisdom that they gained from Dafa, they faithfully delivered the Dafa materials to every fellow practitioner in the area in a timely and safe way.

I often think about the principles that I should uphold and the things that I should do, more than actually doing these things and upholding these principles in my everyday behaviour. Often, when I come home at the weekend after working abroad or in the office for one week, I realise that, despite of all the good ideas and the concepts that I had in mind before going to work, I again failed to live up to the standards for a practitioner. It often seems like I’m following some kind of theoretical cultivation path instead of a practical one.

I clarified the truth to different kinds of people from different points of view. For example, young girls always like to improve their looks, when they saw me still looking so young they then asked me: "Sister, you do not look like a person approaching 45, could you tell us how did you make it." I told them: "I did not do much on improving my looks, I just Practise Falun Gong everyday. After hearing this they were astonished and asked: "Do you still Practise? We are not allowed to do this here."

It was a place full of evil minded people whom cruelly persecuted Dafa practitioners. Its authorities told the outside that they "persuaded, educated and cared for" Dafa practitioners in order to "transform" them. In reality, they used brutal torture methods to try to brainwash and transform practitioners. They used electric batons to shock them, belts to beat them and clamps to fasten their thumbs onto the bunk beds, so that they could neither stand nor sit. They often slapped practitioners heedlessly.

He asked "Have you come here before? Why did you come back again?" I said: "I'm appealing for my Teacher, for Falun Dafa, and for those Falun Dafa practitioners who are illegally imprisoned." The policeman said: "That's really great, it's not for yourself. OK, I am unable to handle things above my level of duty, but it is within my power to let you go." So I returned home safely. I was very happy with the righteous behaviour of that particular policeman.

Certain matters sounded so inconceivable to me that I just couldn’t accept them. After a lot of discussions with my husband and after reading certain paragraphs dozens of times again, I finally succeeded in finishing the book completely and suddenly everything became clearer to me! I immediately started reading for a second time and this time it went more smoothly and the incredible understanding started to grow that everything I had learned before was after all not the absolute truth!

In the long river of history, human life is as short-lived as a jet of spray. In the vastness of the universe, human capability is as negligible as a speck of dust. So many wise men have been searching for the true meaning of life and the genuine origin of the universe in order to obtain eternal happiness. However, after ages of reincarnation, after all the hardships in seeking, they still cannot find the answers. They are still wondering when the genuine Teacher will come into being...

Because of human selfishness, when disputes and conflicts arose, the relationship among practitioners, which should be solemn, became worse than that of ordinary good people. For some time, this puzzled me. After calming down, using the Fa to judge the situation and looking inside, I found that the problems were due to my attachments. During communications with practitioners, I always get confused by what is on the surface, and get attached to one’s external behaviour, I do not see the true nature of that person — the great cultivator.

An everyday person more readily accepts opinions and viewpoints from outside himself. That person’s mind is not yet ready to examine his conscience, because he or she does not want to assume responsibility for his or her words and actions. Also, when things don’t go well, then that person can put the blame on others, saying, “it is not my fault, it is the other person’s fault.” Is this bad? It is really quite bad to act like that!

I mostly feared that I would lose the comfortable life I had, however, all the mostly feared things were pushed on me one by one. Even so, I never gave up the belief in ‘truth, compassion and tolerance’. I am even more diligent in cultivation because Master teaches us in the article A Brief Statement of Mine "Other people may treat us badly, but we do not treat others badly, nor do we treat people as enemies." According to the teachings of Master, no matter who we are faced with, we have to consider them before we think of ourselves. We have to do more good things.

This life without any moral values led me to act in an irrational way and my only solution was to get away from my family and my country, and as a matter of fact my life became meaningless. And in the darkness a light appeared to me the day I read the book of Falun Dafa. I said the day but actually I should say at night because I read the book in one night and my state of mind changed radically, I had found a sense to my life again.

Whenever the province superior issued an order to persecute Falun Gong, he would reply that there were no practitioners under his jurisdiction. Then he would inform practitioners in the village to be on the alert for inspection. After the event, he would say, "How long will I be in this office? The people at the top issue some unjustifiable policy and we at the bottom have a strategy for dealing with them. I know Falun Gong is good, so I'll help practitioners. I will not commit the wicked deed of naming names to hurt others!"

It is clear that the virtues of Falun Dafa, which have attracted millions of people around the world, are still attracting the attention of more and more people across Europe and enabling Falun Dafa to establish its roots more and more deeply throughout society.

Some people left, one after another, after they had learnt the true facts about Falun Gong. The police then tried another method and asked the Falun Dafa practitioners to sign a piece of blank paper. The practitioners firmly refused. The police - almost 30 strong - came forward menacingly; however, they couldn't intimidate the practitioners at all. They couldn't accomplish their evil goals.

When I started my job more than two years ago, I almost couldn’t stand it. Receiving calls from people was not my favourite occupation in the first place, and I also knew nothing of computers. By improving Xinxing through studying Fa and looking inside on one hand, and building up my worldly skills on the other, I gradually overcame my tribulations. Through trial and error, I learned to reach beyond the realm of human disputes, and to serve people unconditionally with compassion.

I saw clearly that my competitive mentality, my attachment of jealousy and also my attachment to what other people think of me were all being exposed. This put the whole situation into perspective and suddenly I didn’t feel so upset anymore, I was thankful to Master for having pointed these attachments out to me. Once I got to my class, I realised that it had been arranged for me to be in that class from the beginning, as there was a Chinese woman in my class.

From this, we can see the great impact that truth clarification from overseas practitioners has on rescuing practitioners in China, as well as the significant shock it brings to those evil police officers who persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. The prison guards told Li Mei's mother when Li Mei was being released: "Some phone calls were from the U.S. and some were from Canada." They felt frightened because they knew the world could see them committing their evil acts.

If you do not practise the Falun Gong exercises and hand out materials, we will give you 400 Yuan in wages, and a two bedroom unit with a separate kitchen." Zhang said: "I am not scared, and I don't want it! I just want Falun Dafa! I will still practise the exercises and hand out materials! I want to be a Falun Dafa practitioner in a righteous and open way!" The evil persecutors were therefore forced to release him.

Especially during the past 50 years, under the deceit and brainwashing of the Chinese Communist Party, Chinese people have accumulated too much servilism. Under such circumstance, it is no wonder that we feel we have found something new, fresh and extraordinary when we examine the "April 25th Appeal" by over ten thousand Falun Gong practitioners four years ago. From this peaceful appeal, we witnessed a display of respect for our own rights and our own values, and a farewell to servilism.

With the improvement of my xinxing [heart-nature / moral quality] during my cultivation, my husband has changed from opposing Dafa to supporting my Dafa cultivation. Recently, however, departing from his normal behaviour, my husband unreasonably scolded me for doing Dafa work and studying Dafa books. By looking inward, I found that I had ignored doing housework, and become less concerned with my husband. After I corrected my behaviour, the atmosphere at home eased a bit, but I was still restrained.

A person will even take their friends or relatives as his enemies just over a minor disagreement or difference in point of view. This is the limitation of human emotions, for emotions are selfish. Love and hatred have the same root; love is the happiness which comes about when one's emotions are satisfied, while hatred is the anger when one's emotions are not satisfied. So both love and hatred do not have the purpose of others wellbeing. They are for satisfying one's emotions, so both are selfish.

"I hope all of us can step forward to safeguard our own basic rights and dignity, and live with dignity and nobility. History has proven that violence cannot destroy faith, and totalitarian power can never suppress the Truth. Any dictator exists for only a fleeting moment. In the future, when we look back at history, we will see the April 25 Great Appeal radiating a forever-indelible brilliance."

Since I began practicing I noticed my grades improve and attitude become more open and calm. Concentrating and completing my studies became a breeze. My relationships with peers and family members also improved. Falun Gong helped me become a good citizen. After I saw these benefits I could not imagine stopping the practice, simply because a few leaders in the Chinese government felt insecure about Falun Gong’s growing popularity and later on decided to ban it. Rather, I wanted to keep practicing, experience more benefits and give more people the opportunity to try it.

Jiang's regime repeatedly emphasised that the Falun Gong practitioners' appeal had "political motives." After the Chinese ruling Party came to power, it started numerous political persecutions in the name of "political struggle" or "class struggle." The victims were usually called "enemy of the people with political motives," but those who truly had political motives were the dictators themselves. Facts during the past four years have proven that Falun Gong has no designs on political power, the political party or on the political system.

Once the mother was arrested by the police when distributing truth-clarifying materials. The daughter went to jail to visit her and told her, "Mom, you need to have righteous thoughts. Do not cooperate with the evil persecutors. The way to get out of jail is to go on a hunger strike in protest." Watching her daughter's innocent face, the practitioners nearby couldn't hold back their tears. How can an adult not do well when a child has such righteous thoughts?

I was only 17 years old and had heard that people would be beaten up when they entered the jail. When I walked in the cell trembling with fear, I encountered a very peaceful atmosphere. It was very cold that day. I only had on a thin shirt and was shivering with cold. One lady let me wear some of her clothes and another one gave me a pan of warm water to wash. They were so nice to me. I later learned that they were Falun Dafa practitioners.

One night the camp police took me to a graveyard next to a ditch. They handcuffed me to a tree in the graveyard and forced me into a kneeling position. Two of them hit and kicked me, and then battered me with a wooden club. Then I was taken to a riverbank, where the police forced my head into the water, threatening to drown me if I did not agree to forsake Falun Dafa. I firmly reminded myself that a practitioner should be full of righteous thoughts. They failed to shake my determination again.

We can see the "tradition" of the Chinese government hiding the truth and lying to its people from many historical examples. During the three years of natural disasters in the 1960's, there were more than 20 million people who died from famine based on a study by foreign experts. However, in China, all the news and media claimed that the government and the Party's policies were always right. Several billion people dared not say one word about the lies under the high pressure...

One time after she played Chopin’s Nocturne No.8, the piano professors and musicians from the Music College of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire said, “The musical space that this child’s soul touches is profound. This is real music.” Liana’s teachers and classmates know that she practises Falun Dafa. Lianna tells them that Dafa bestows her with her unique musical gift and creativity; the elevation of mind (xinxing) and spirit through cultivating Dafa is the only origin of her success.

I heard the phrase “Falun Wo Gong” (study the Fa whilst lying down) from the audio recording of Master Li’s Fa Lecture in Jinan. These words were from a sentence criticising someone who arbitrarily tampered with the Falun Gong exercises. Yet what I heard was another connotation criticising my posture whilst studying the Fa. At that moment, I drew a deep breath and thought: “Ouch, Master, aren’t you referring to me?”
