Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Dong Fengshan was detained in the Shanyou Detention Centre in Songyuan City and secretly sentenced to nine years in prison. The whole process was done without notifying his family. On October 23rd, 2008, he was taken to the Jilin Province Prison in Siping City. Only six days later, on October 29th, 2008, Mr. Dong's wife received a call from Siping Prison telling her that Mr. Dong was dying of an illness. However, when they rushed to the prison, the administration told them that he had already died. The Prison Administration failed to give his family any reasonable explanation. According to new information, Mr .Dong Fengshan was beaten to death by prisoners.

Officials at Qinghai Women's Forced Labour Camp have recently failed in their attempts to "transform" Falun Gong practitioner Li Leye. They have detained Ms. Li since July 2008. They sent two officers to the workplaces of Ms. Li's family members to threaten them. They also demanded the home addresses of her other relatives. After failing to achieve their goals, the two officers threatened, "If you don't tell us, we'll return every day."

On April 20th, 2002, I was arrested by police officers and sent to Huangpu Detention Centre. Several policemen violently beat me. I was taken out of the detention centre one night and sent to a small, enclosed room, where eight policemen threatened to inject me with medicine and send me to a psychiatric hospital. I didn't cooperate, so four of the officers left the room while another four remained to brutally beat me and threaten me. I became unconscious due to the torture and was taken back to the detention centre early the next morning. I couldn't walk by myself and had to lean on the guards for support. I protested with a hunger strike, and was then tied to a chair, where guards forced a feeding tube down into my lungs. They continued to insert the tube and didn't stop until I lost consciousness.

Practitioners Mr. Liu Wenyuan and Ms. Zhou Lan have recently been sentenced by a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) court. On October 14th, 2008, Mr. Liu Wenyuan's home was ransacked by police. He was detained at the Chai Village Detention Centre and his family was not allowed to visit him. Practitioner Ms. Zhou Lan was arrested on July 25th, 2008 when she was distributing Falun Gong leaflets exposing the persecution.

"Selfishness" is like a lock that confines one's wisdom and ability. If selfishness exists, then the person will be occupied by their human notions and will pursue their individual self-interest. If one continues to get rid of selfishness, one will be able to continuously reach higher levels.

One man in his early twenties who had been practicing Falun Dafa for a few months was curious and decided to get his aura photographed.
