  • French MP Nicolas Dupont-Aignan Appeals to Restrain the Persecution and Killing of Falun Gong Practitioners

    Recently, Falun Gong practitioners have been writing to the MP of the Esson area and the Mayor of Yerres city, Mr. Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, to tell them about the CCP's savage persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Subsequently, Mr. Dupont-Aignan wrote a letter to the French Minister for Foreign Affairs, appealing to the French authorities to take immediate action to stop these crimes. Both letters are reproduced here.
  • Denmark: An MEP Raises Enquiries Regarding Organ Harvesting by the CCP

    "The Chinese government is now brutally violating human rights. According to reports on the internet, the Vice-Minister of the Public Security, Liu Jin, said: “Eliminate Falun Gong before the Olympic Games in 2008.” According to the reports, the Chinese regime systematically killed Falun Gong practitioners in the secret Sujiatun concentration camp, and no one ever left the facility alive. Some Falun Gong practitioners were murdered and their organs were removed. Even some live practitioners’ organs were taken out because it is more valuable than from dead bodies."
  • France: Letter from French MP to the French Foreign Minister Regarding the Persecution of Falun Gong

    Mr. Bernard Piras, a member of the French parliament, wrote a letter to the French Foreign Minister on 1st March 2006 regarding the inhumane torture and persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. French Member of Parliament Mr. Bernard Piras urged the French Foreign Minister to pay attention to human rights violations happening in China, in particular the cruel practice of organ removal from living people, which violates basic human rights.
  • The UK Government is Concerned about Human Organ Harvesting in China

    “The UK Government is concerned about the practice of organ harvesting from prisoners subject to the death penalty in China and reports of illegal trafficking of organs. We understand that some 600,000 people in China each year require organ transplants and that there is a great shortage of organs due to social taboos about transplants. We also understand that the Chinese Government has acknowledged the practice of organ harvesting from these prisoners and the trade in their organs.”
  • Belgian Parliamentarian Calls for International Condemnation of the Crimes of Totalitarian Communist Regimes

    A resolution was passed by the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly on January 25th 2006. The chairman of the Christian Democrats, the chairman of the political division of general affairs committee in the Council of Europe and a Belgian parliamentarian Mr. Luc Van den Grande underlined the significance of this resolution but concluded, "To pass this resolution is just a beginning."
  • Italy: A Reply from a Government Official in Biella Province Expresses Support for Falun Gong Practitioners

    "We have known the fact that the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners began in 1999. In order to suppress this cultivation way and its practitioners, the Chinese Communist Party has been changing its methods of persecution continuously, such as excruciating torture, sending them into exile, forcing them to do heavy work and spreading propaganda of hatred aimed at Falun Gong. We can not accept the action of violating human rights..."
  • Vice President of the Czech Senate: The Values of "Truthfulness Compassion and Forbearance" Should be Retained in Every Country

    On October 31st, 2005, representatives of the Czech Falun Dafa Association visited Mr Edward Outrata, Vice President of the Czech Senate, regarding the ongoing persecution of Falun Gong. Mr Outrata had previously made the point that the world’s moral pressure on the Chinese government is very important. He also believes this kind of pressure is advantageous to the improvement of China’s human rights situation.
  • Sweden: Foreign Ministry Expresses Support for Falun Gong Practitioners in China

    "Thank you for your letter to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, dated May 2nd...As you might know, human rights issues in China are frequently brought up in discussions with our Chinese counterparts, during our many contacts, both from Sweden and from the EU. For example, every sixth months we have within the EU a special human rights dialogue with China, where we go through an extensive agenda and bring up all the areas where we feel a strong concern regarding how human rights issues are handled in China."
  • German Member of Parliament: “I Assure You that We Will Continue to Fight for the Release of Renzheng Jiang.”

    Jiang Renzheng, his wife and two small children were deported to Beijing from Würzburg (Germany) in March 2005. Following his deportation, Jiang Renzheng was sentenced to three years of forced labour and is now being detained in a labour camp in the city of Benxi because of his Falun Gong practice and the attendant accusation of “endangering public security.” His wife was forced into hiding because of her imminent arrest.
  • Irish Minister for Foreign Affairs Questioned about Progress in Ending the Persecution Against Falun Gong

    "The EU-China human rights dialogue, established in 1996, is the agreed formal framework through which the EU raises its concerns about individual human rights cases, including those of Falun Gong practitioners and more general issues, such as the protection of freedom of religion and expression, which have a particular impact on practitioners of Falun Gong. The 19th round of the EU-China human rights dialogue took place in Luxembourg on 24th and 25th February 2005. At that meeting, the EU raised strong concerns about the persecution of persons on the grounds of their peaceful expression of belief, in particular members of Falun Gong. The EU also raised the cases of a number of Falun Gong practitioners with the Chinese representatives."
  • Chairman of the London Assembly Expresses Concern over Annie Yang’s Situation

    His letter stated that one of his constituents recently told him that Annie was arrested by officers from Shuangyushu Paichusuo on 1st March 2005 on suspicion of being a Falun Gong practitioner. China is the only country in the world where practising Falun Gong, a practice of peaceful exercises and meditation that asks practitioners to live by the principles of truthfulness, compassion and tolerance, is illegal. In other countries, Falun Gong has received proclamations and awards from governments for its role in improving practitioners’ health and morality.
  • Slovakia: Mayor of the City of Pezinok Attended Falun Gong Appeal to Sign a Petition calling for and End to the Persecution

    Saturday the 26th of February began as a nice, sunny day so practitioners of Falun Gong took advantage of the good weather to visit Pezinok city. They called for public attention to the persecution against Falun Gong, which has continued for almost six years. Documented evidence details the killing of 1,379 practitioners, although Chinese Government estimates put the unofficial figure close to 10,000.
  • UK Government 2004 Human Rights Report is Critical of China’s Human Rights Practice and Treatment of Falun Gong Practitioners

    The UK Government published its 2004 Human Rights Report on the 10th of November. The Report stated, “The UK Government continues to have serious concerns about basic human rights in China…Our on-going concerns include: the extensive use of the death penalty; the use of torture; the continuing harassment of political dissidents, religious practitioners and adherents of the Falun Gong spiritual movement; the situation in Tibet and Xinjiang; and severe restrictions on basic freedoms of speech, association and religion.”
  • United Kingdom: MP for Cambridge and Leader of Cambridge Liberal Democrats Both Express Their Support during Cambridge Falun Dafa Week

    MP Ms. Anne Campbell said in her letter, "Those of us who believe in the freedom of speech and expression must sympathize with the Falun Gong practitioners, who are persecuted throughout China. The UN report which draws attention to the torture of Falun Gong practitioners is deeply shocking and I would urge everyone to write a letter of protest to the Chinese authorities about their treatment of Falun Gong."
  • Mayor of Lübeck in Germany: “I have a deep appreciation for your efforts against the persecution of Falun Gong…”

    In the five years of persecution that people who practise Falun Gong have suffered, voices of support have echoed all over the world and many officials, government representatives and non-governmental organizations have publicly stated their opposition to the human rights abuses against Falun Gong in China, that are being instigated by former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin.
