I hope that the Irish Embassy in China can send an official to check on his safety. On behalf of Liu Feng and Yang Fang I am now asking the Irish government for help to rescue them and speak out on their behalf." -
An Appeal to the Cypriot People from Falun Gong Practitioners and the Family Members of Persecuted Practitioners
2003-11-03On October the 25th 2003, Wu Guanzheng, a high-ranking Chinese official who is directly involved in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in Shandong Province, visited Cyprus. Persecuted Falun Gong practitioners and their family members also went to Cyprus at this time. Falun Gong practitioners wrote the following letter to the Cypriot Government, media and citizens. -

“Berlingske Tidende” (Danish newspaper): Letter to the Editor – Four Years of Persecution
2003-08-29'There is documented evidence on the untimely death of at least 760 Falun Gong practitioners caused by the regime’s brutal persecution. Sources inside the Chinese government, however, say that it is over 7000. In total, over forty types of state-sanctioned torture methods, including mass rape and other sexual violations of female practitioners, are only part of the harsh realities that Chinese Falun Gong practitioners are facing.' -
Germany: Global Committee to Rescue Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners sends a Letter to the German Government
2003-07-29In the letter, the committee made an urgent appeal to the German government to request the Chinese authorities to release Chen Xiaozhu who once studied in Germany, and Yu Hongli; both illegally imprisoned in Chengdu city of Sichuan Province.
