Cases of Persecution at Masanjia Forced Labour Camp in Liaoning Province

In 2005, as a protest, some Falun Dafa practitioners refused to perform forced labour and stayed in bed. Guards dragged them from their beds by their hair. If practitioners refuse to wear the prison uniform (because they are not criminals), they are punished by not being allowed to use the toilet. The following practitioners were punished for various breaches of prison regulations: Ms. Wang Hong was locked in a toilet until 1:00 a.m.; Ms. Wang Shulan, Ms. Liu Huarong, and Ms. Liu Guifang were beaten by police because they refused to wear the prison uniform. Several practitioners went on hunger strikes in protest. They were barbarically force-fed. -
Many Practitioners from Weifang City, Shandong Province Unjustly Arrested on April 18th, 2007
2007-05-05On the night of April 18th, 2007, the authorities from the Weifang City Police Station arrested over 10 Falun Gong practitioners. One practitioner's workplace was ransacked. After the door was pried open, the officers stole a van and two motorcycles, among other belongings. The warehouse gate where many Falun Gong leaflets exposing the persecution were stored was broken into and the materials taken away. The perpetrators had been monitoring some practitioners for a long time and then arrested them in different places. -
Mr. Qu Yanlai's Younger Sister Taken Against Her Will By Shanghai Police
2007-05-05Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Qu Yanyan from Daqing City visited her older brother, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Qu Yanlai, who was imprisoned at Tilanqiao Prison on March 20th, 2007. That very evening, she was taken against her will by the Shanghai State Security police. As early as September 2002, when police in Shanghai arrested Mr. Qu Yanlai, the Shanghai State Security police had intended to arrest Ms. Qu Yanyan, and colluded with Daqing City police to implement the plan. But beforehand some people exposed the plan to a member of Ms. Qu Yanyan's family, and her relative paid a large sum of money to Daqing City police to make them drop the plan. -
Ms. Chuai Cuijun Sentenced to Five Year Prison Term for Passing Out Leaflets - Four of Her Family Members Arrested for Appealing to Tangshan Court in Hebei Province
2007-05-04On April 12th, 2007, practitioners Ms. Chen and Ms. Chuai were sentenced to four and five years in prison, respectively. Four family members of Ms. Chuai Cuijun, along with some of Chen Baihe's family members, went to the Quanxi Court to appeal for justice regarding the issue of Ms. Chuai and Chen being sentenced. They asked for their release, but instead they were all arrested by the National Security Team and detained. It was said that the authorities from the 610 Office had planned to detain Ms. Chuai Cuijun and Chen Baihe until late 2008 in the name of "securing the safety of the Olympic games in 2008." -
Brutal Persecution at Beijing Women's Forced Labour Camp; Zhang Lianying Remains Detained

April 20th was the birthday of Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Lianying. It also marked one month since she suffered severe internal bleeding in the head after being brutally beaten at the Beijing Women's Forced Labour Camp. Ms. Zhang's husband Niu Jinping and her three-year-old daughter Qingqing repeatedly went to the labour camp to try to visit Ms. Zhang, who is detained at the Tiantanghe Hospital inside the labour camp. Mr. Niu again requested that his wife be released unconditionally, and that the perpetrator of the crime be brought to justice. -
Criminal Acts of Guards in the Mudanjiang Forced Labour Camp, Heilongjiang Province
2007-05-03Mudanjiang Forced Labour Camp is located in Sidao Village, Tielinghe Town, in the eastern suburb of Mudanjiang City. Zhang Junrong, leader of the division responsible for the entry and release of prisoners in the forced labour camp, used electric batons to abuse prisoners. Between 1999 and 2002, during his tenure as a division leader, he followed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners ruthlessly. -
Fifteen Common Methods of Torture Used at Xinhua Forced Labour Camp in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province
2007-05-02One morning in April 2001, several other practitioners and I were studying the Falun Dafa teachings, sitting on the floor of a small classroom. I was reciting the teachings to them. Camp guard Deng Tao discovered us. He brought me to the office for questioning and called in other guards from the fifth floor. They pushed me to the floor and stood on my back. They tied my hands very tightly behind me and then shocked me with electric batons. -
Mr. Cui Xin from Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province Secretly Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison
2007-05-01Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Cui Xin was arrested at home on December 22nd, 2006 by state security agents and policemen from Hulan District Police Department. Police officers took away his printer and several hundred copies of leaflets exposing the persecution, which were used as so-called "evidence" to sentence him to prison. He was recently sentenced to seven years in prison after being detained for four months. His case was apparently handled by the Hulan District Court. The Harbin City Middle Court judge determined the sentence. -
Ms. Zhu Guilin Disfigured and Emaciated from Two and a Half Years of Torture at the Baimalong Forced Labour Camp in Hunan Province
2007-05-0143-year-old Ms. Zhu Guilin has been detained in the Baimalong Forced Labour Camp in Zhuzhou City for two and a half years. On April 8th her term was up but the Baimalong Forced Labour Camp still didn't release her. On the morning of April 9th, Zhu's mother, brother and sister-in-laws went to Baimalong Forced Labour Camp to visit her. Ms. Zhu came out with other people's support and was not able to walk by herself. There were bruises all over Ms. Zhu's head, hands, wrists, elbows, knees and legs. She was so emaciated that she was a bag of bones. Seeing her daughter like this, her mother couldn't help crying. A policeman in the reception room came forward to stop her mother because family members are not allowed to cry. But Ms. Zhu's mother still couldn't help her tears. -
Ways That Benxi Forced Labour Camp in Liaoning Province Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners, Both Physically and Mentally
2007-04-30When the authorities realised that their attacks and verbal abuses of Dafa and the propaganda for the Communist Party had no effect on practitioners, they tricked their family members into coming to the camp and used them to try to influence the practitioners. The husbands, wives, children, parents, brothers, or sisters of the practitioner came to the camp and wept, complaining about their being abandoned by the practitioners. Sometimes the managers of the practitioner's company or his friends came and said that practitioners were being selfish, caring about only their own cultivation and not about their families. Who exactly broke up numerous families and caused family members to be separated or die? Was it not caused by the Party's persecution of these good people, who adhere to the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance?" -
Facts About Hebei Province's Shenzhou City 610 Office Agents' Persecution of Practitioners
2007-04-30According to incomplete statistics as of late 2006, the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners in Shenzhou can be summarised as follows: 23 practitioners were tortured to death; 21 practitioners were sentenced in prison; 130 practitioners were sentenced to forced labour; 599 practitioners were detained on 1,239 occasions in total; 1,401 practitioners were called/interrogated by police 5822 times in total; 30 practitioners were on the wanted list; 481 practitioners' houses were ransacked a total of 647 times; 1,197,429 yuan in fines. -
Details of the Persecution of Ms. Huang Jinling by the 610 Office and the National Security Division in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province
2007-04-29On February 9th, seven policemen, went to Huang Jinling's home, arrested her, and searched her home without any legal permission. On March 21st, when Huang Jinling's sister visited her, Huang Jinling told her how she was tortured from March 5th to March 8th. She was tied to a metal chair for four days in the National Security Division. Her hands and feet were swollen from being tied for so long. The skin on her buttocks peeled off. It was at the end of her one-month detention. Why did they need to interrogate her with force? Apparently the arrest of Huang Jinling was revenge. -
Eight Middle-Aged and Elderly Women Arrested for Practising Falun Gong Exercises in Private Home
2007-04-29Ms. Cao Fengying is a Falun Dafa practitioner. On April 5th, 2007, police officers from the Wanquan County 610 Office and the National Security Division arrested her and ransacked her home. They also took away seven others who were practising Falun Gong at her home at the time, most of whom were new practitioners who had just started practising Falun Dafa. An elderly woman in her 70s was so scared that she fainted on the spot. -
Exposing the Crimes of Zhangjiakou City (Hebei Province) 610 Office Agents
2007-04-29On April 5th, 2006, some Falun Gong practitioners put up exposing the persecution on their way to the Zhangjiakou City Wangjiazhai Public Cemetery and the Xiaoxinzhuang Funeral Home. Practitioners displayed banners to mourn for fellow practitioners who had been killed in the persecution. The local 610 Office agents were greatly alarmed by these banners and conducted widespread searches and arrests of seven local practitioners. These practitioners were secretly sent to a prison to be tortured. -
Crimes Committed in the Second Forced Labour Camp in Shandong Province
2007-04-27All practitioners sent to the camp are first subjected to forced brainwashing. The police guards force practitioners to watch videos slandering Dafa in an attempt to influence practitioners to give up their belief in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" and to write the so-called "guarantee statements" to renounce their belief. If practitioners refuse to cooperate, the police immediately exploit a variety of torture methods. They beat practitioners fiercely, force-feed them, hammer bamboo sticks under their fingernails, hang them in the "cross" position, put them on the death bed, deprive them of sleep, and pinch their flesh using metal clamps. The police invented the "metal clamp pinching" torture method on their own. I have personally witnessed how this cruel method caused practitioners excruciating pain.
