  • Turkey: Turkish People Express Support for Falun Gong.

    From July 20th to the 25th, 2007, Turkish Falun Gong practitioners visited Selcuk in North Eastern Turkey, to raise awareness about Falun Gong and the Chinese communist regime’s persecution. They talked to people in many different sections of society, including journalists, local businessmen and government workers.
  • Letter from CIPFG to the German Chancellor Urging an Immediate End to the CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong

    On August 24th, 2007, German members of the CIPFG (Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China) wrote a letter to Chancellor Angela Merkel, who will visit China soon. In the letter, they urged Mrs. Merkel to help to end the persecution of the Chinese communist regime against Falun Gong and pass along the CIPFG’s letters to China’s president Hu Jintao and the premier Wen Jiabao.   • Switzerland: Exposing the CCP's Atrocity of Organ Harvesting

    Falun Gong practitioners in Switzerland returned to a busy shopping street in Zurich to spend a day exposing to local people the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist regime, which has lasted over eight years.Tourists from all over the world could also find leaflets in their own native languages at the information stand.
  • Sweden: Falun Gong at the Swedish Cultural Festival in Gothenburg

    On August 14th, 2007, a one-week Cultural Festival was held in Gothenburg, the second biggest city in Sweden. The centre of the Cultural Festival was held in a park. Practitioners took part and the demonstration of Falun Gong exercises and instruction of the exercises interested many adults and children.
  • Finland: Supporting an End to the Persecution of Falun Gong

    On August 18th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners and volunteers from the 'Quitting the CCP Service Centre' in Finland held an activity at Esplanadi Park in the centre of Helsinki to expose the evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and protest against the CCP's eight year long persecution of Falun Gong in China, as well as support the 25 million wihdrawals from the CCP.
  • Ireland: Falun Gong is Popular During the Irish Rose Festival

    The annual Irish Rose Festival is held in Tralee, an important town in the Southwest of Ireland, in late August every year. Irish Falun Gong practitioners took advantage of this opportunity to help more people know the fact about the magnificence of Falun Gong and the Chinese Communist regime’s persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Germany: German Practitioners Expose the Chinese Regime's Persecution of Falun Gong in China

    In the weeks before the 131st Richard Wagner Festival, visitors from around the world were able to practitioners' photo exhibition on the “Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party” and on the Chinese Communist regime's crimes involving harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Many signed the petition condemning the persecution as a result.
  • Germany: People of Freiburg Condemn the Vicious Persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party

    In order to let more people learn about the beauty of Falun Gong and the brutality of the persecution happening in China, Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in Freiburg. After they found out how innocent Falun Gong practitioners are cruelly persecuted, many people signed the petition to condemn the atrocities.
  • Hungary: Exposing the Persecution during a Chinese Dance Performance

    Practitioners handed out fliers and newspapers to on-lookers. People were very keen to read the information. Because it happened during the performance, they looked at the performers with a great sense of pity when they learnt about the Chinese communist regime’s inhumane torture and organ harvesting against their fellow Chinese people, practitioners of Falun Gong.
  • Austria: Exposing the Persecution of Falun Dafa during the Salzburg Art Festival

    In August every year, Austrians celebrate the Salzburg Festival, which is the most famous artistic festival in Europe. Practitioners held a Falun Dafa Information Day activity to expose the Chinese Communist regime's persecution of practitioners over the past eight years and introduce the magnificence of Falun Dafa.
  • Russia: Many Chinese People Are Quitting the CCP

    Russian Falun Gong practitioners distributed the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and the blank form for the Chinese people to declare their withdrawal from the CCP and its affiliated organizations to almost every Chinese person in the urban areas and farm villages as well as those in tourist attractions and paddy fields.
  • Italy: Exposing the Persecution to the People of Florence

    Every Saturday during July and August, practitioners in Florence gathered at the Piazza S. Croce and Piazza Repubblica to tell local people and tourists about Falun Gong and the brutal organ harvesting campaign being waged against practitioners by the Chinese communist regime.
  • Germany: People Sign the Petition to Support the Human Rights Torch Relay during the Wagner Opera Festival

    Several people asked the same question: “Don’t you think that holding the Olympics could change the human rights situation in China?” But as soon as they heard that the organ harvesting on living Falun Gong practitioners is still happening, although it was revealed one year ago, people changed their minds and signed the petition immediately.
  • Austria: National TV Station Introduces Falun Dafa to Viewers

    Austrian practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and were interviewed on a nationwide news programme broadcast on August 17th. TV station ORF (NOE) carried the broadcast, which was a great introduction to Falun Dafa.
  • Sweden: Demonstrating Falun Gong Exercises during the Gothenburg Cultural Festival

    On August 14th 2007, the annual six-day Cultural Festival kicked off in Gothenburg. The demonstration of the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and free exercise teaching were held in the Botanical Garden, where most of the celebration activities were held. They attracted the attention of many adults and children alike.
