According to a reliable source, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) recently transferred criminal justice students in colleges nationally to Beijing in succession as "servers" and turned taxi drivers in Beijing into armed police. The party claims this is necessary to ensure the safety of the Olympic Games. On the one hand, it exposes how the CCP wants to destroy more people as they kidnap the students and force the taxi drivers into being armed police in the public security system, risking their lives. On the other hand, it exposes the desperate state that the CCP is in, fearing every living thing is their enemy.

On May 1st, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioner Jing Yongan was arrested by police because he hung up a banner exposing the persecution in the village. Mr. Jing is now being detained. Villagers from Daolan Village wrote a letter to higher officials to plead for Mr. Jing's release. In response, the Politics and Law Enforcement Office and 610 Office of Kangping County went to the village to "investigate" the case and threatened the villagers for trying to support justice.

It was March 4th, the 15th day of the Chinese New Year. Tens of thousands of residents gathered to enjoy lanterns and fireworks in Shiji Square in Dongfeng New Village, Daqing City. Over one thousand undercover police and armed police were among the crowd. Practitioners distributed free handouts that informed people about the true nature of Falun Gong among the crowd. It was quite risky. They could have been arrested if they were discovered. The police arrested some residents for reading the handouts. Several of them were sent to the Daqing City Detention Centre. The police beat them before questioning and interrogated them the whole night without allowing any of them to sleep.

Since the evil regime started suppressing Falun Gong on July 20th 1999, Bian Fusheng, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province, and his whole family suffered ongoing persecution just because they practised "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." Seven family members were once illegally sent to forced labour camps or prison. His daughter Bian Yaping was arrested many times and illegally sent to a labour camp for two years. Later, she was sentenced to five years in prison for distributing leaflets. Ms. Bian is still imprisoned at the Heilongjiang Provincial Women's Prison.

On May 12th 2006, I went to Kaifeng City, Henan Province for a business negotiation. My business partner was a woman, and we talked freely. After a little while, I switched our topic and told her about Falun Gong. When I mentioned the staged self-immolation event in Tiananmen Square, unexpectedly, my business partner told me that she was a next-door neighbour of Ms. Liu Chunling, one of the victims of the event who died of a fatal blow to the head from a policeman. She then told me many things about Ms. Liu Chunling.

My name is Wang Xiaoyang and I am a Chinese student studying in Switzerland. I have three close relatives in China: my eighty-four-year old grandmother, my sixty-year old father who has not been well, and my fifty-four-year old mother. My mother is a Falun Gong practitioner and is the centre of the family, who provides both financial and spiritual support. They are ordinary law-abiding citizens whose only desire is to live a peaceful life.

February 21, 2005 was the starting date for a new term at the Children's Art School of the Hunan Province Department of Culture. Just one week later, the young students in the No. 4 Calligraphy and Painting class were surprised to find that their very popular teacher, Ms. Gong Xianghui, had disappeared. Their teacher, Ms. Gong, is a Falun Gong practitioner. The school administration fired her because she refused to sign the so-called "safety responsibility letter," which contained statements that defamed Falun Gong.

On January 19 2005, right before the winter break, the high school affiliated with Chongqing University gave every student a short article slandering Falun Gong as homework over the break. The students were told to transcribe the entire article and encouraged to enter writing contests by writing similar articles. Students who did not complete the homework would not be allowed to attend school the following term. This approach used to poison the minds of children made many people very upset.

Li Ying, 13 years old, is the daughter of Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Shulan from Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. Li Ying's mother, grandfather and grandmother are being illegally detained for practising Falun Gong. Her two uncles and one aunt died from the persecution. Two years ago, the Changping County 610 Office put Li Ying into a nursing home. For the last two years she has been the only child living there. Moreover, while she is in the nursing home she has no personal freedom.

The reform of the education system in Harbin City began last year. All teachers, permanent or temporary, with achievements or not, as long as they clearly made a declaration to keep in line with the political ideology of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, could then sign the contract prepared by the school authorities. The contract would then be legally notarised and guarantee that one would not be laid off for three years. The majority of people did not even read the contract before signing it, including some Falun Dafa practitioners who were teachers.

On the 31st of December, Beijing attorney Gao Zhicheng of Beijing's Chengzhi Law Office published a copy of the letter he sent to the National People's Congress. Mr. Gao addressed such questions as: Are Falun Gong practitioners treated as Chinese citizens? Should they be granted protection under the Chinese Constitution? Are they granted the rights of a Chinese citizen?

A woman who came from Jilin to appeal said, "In the past, nobody dared to mention Falun Gong but now everyone is talking about it. They say that Falun Gong is not like the government claims." She said she had witnessed police officers pulling practitioners' hair and beating them; however, the practitioners said nothing and showed what "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance" was all about.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Ouyang Wei, 32 years old, lived in Lanzhou, Gansu province. On October the 16th 2002, three people from Aning Police Station, State Security Team tricked him into opening his door by telling him that they were his colleagues and that they wanted to take him to the police station to investigate something. At noon, the three policemen took Ouyang Wei back home and said to his family that they would take him to "study" for a few days. They sent Ouyang Wei to Gansu No. 1 Labour Camp for one year of forced labour.

As part of their effort to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners, officials in Shanghai are turning residential apartment buildings into "prisons" in order to block the distribution of materials that clarify truth about Falun Dafa. Following the policy of suppressing Dafa practitioners even more deviously while trying to hide the facts of the persecution to the outside world, these officials make accomplices out of innocent people such as gatekeepers, retired communist party members, lift operators, janitors and maintenance staff.

Wang Jing was born in November 1998. His father Wang Zhihai is a Falun Gong practitioner, as was his mother Duan Shiqiong. He was seven months old when Jiang's faction started persecuting Falun Gong on July 20th 1999. The local police and "610 Office" personnel arrested, detained and tortured his parents, who consequently were unable to take care of him, so Wang Jing lived with his grandparents most of the time.

A boy named Zhan Xuanhong was born in November 1999. He lives in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province. He has been separated from family members since he was a toddler due to the persecution of Falun Gong, and has suffered tremendously. When he was only two years old, he was deprived of his father's care. Later, he was deprived of his mother's as well.

Shao Linyao had a healthy and happy childhood in a loving family environment. His happiness, however, did not last long because Jiang's faction arrested his parents time and time again. Since turning three years old, he has been deprived of his parents and subjected to loneliness, helplessness and terror.

Ms. Li Qingqing, 13 years old, is a student in the Jiangjin Heping Middle School. She lives in the Ninth Section of Zhouwu Village, Luohuang Town, Jiangjin City in Chongqing. Qingqing became an orphan when she was only nine years old. Her father died of illness in 2000, and her mother died as the result of persecution in 2001 for practising Falun Gong. Li Qingqing lost not only the love of her mother but the warmth of her family. She has had to live in her uncle's home and often cries for her mother.

According to human rights organisations, it is confirmed through investigation that the Chinese Social Science Academy and its branches have established organisations and institutions specialised in studying the ideology to be used in the anti-Falun Gong movement. Those organisations have used their power under the guise of academic research to slander Falun Gong, instigate hatred towards it, and implement tactics to persecute it. They are also suspected of having influenced other authorities to use mental hospitals to torture Falun Gong practitioners with nerve-damaging drugs.

Falun Gong practitioner Wang Kemin, from Daqing City in Heilongjiang Province, was persecuted many times. He died on May the 8th 2003, shortly after police pounded on his door, attempting to break in to arrest him. His son was left orphaned after his father died. He is one of many children whose parents have been killed in the five years of persecution against Falun Gong.

On March the 6th 2004, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Xiao Yali from Dongfa Village of Zhoujia Township in Shuangcheng City of Heilongjiang Province died during force-feeding in Shuangcheng City No. 2 Detention Centre. The following is some information about Ms. Xiao's twin children, Sun Ri and Sun Yue.

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Miao Qisheng from Shenyang City, Liaoning Province passed away on May the 14th 2002 as a result of the persecution by Xianggong Police Station officers in the Huanggu District of Shenyang City. His son Miao Yumeng, around 13 years old, suffers from heart disease and his whereabouts is unknown.

According to Jiang Zemin and his regime's confidential orders he stated with regards to those who practise Falun Gong, "Beating them to death is counted as suicide, there is no need for their families to identify the bodies, and cremate them directly," a state of affairs even more startling then that enacted by Pinochet has existed in China for over five years. This ongoing persecution has resulted in over 1,100 confirmed deaths. According to internal statistics generated by Chinese officials, the death toll at the end of 2001 had actually reached 1600.

Today, elderly Chinese people can still vividly recall the series of framing, fabrications and persecution cases during the "Anti-rightist" movement and the Cultural Revolution. After the economic reform and "opening-up" policies took effect, China's economy developed quickly and the financial environment loosened up, but the same cannot be said about the government's iron-fisted control on diversity of thought.

I am not a Falun Gong practitioner, but my mother and my older sister are. On July 20, 2001, I went to Tiananmen Square to look for my mother and my sister who went to appeal for Falun Gong. From July 20 to July 22, when I was looking for them, I observed a more complete picture of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Several policemen in the centre were hitting Falun Gong practitioners on the head with electric batons. Practitioners' blood was sprayed all over a banner, yet they still carried on holding the banner and protecting it with their bodies.

Huang Ying's father is illegally imprisoned because he practises Falun Gong and her mother was killed whilst incarcerated for the same reason. She now lives with her grandparents in a dilapidated house made of sun-dried mud bricks. She has never told her grandmother about the death of her mother. because she is in poor health and they don't want to shock her.

Wang Boru witnessed many occasions where the police ransacked his house like burglars. On the morning of July 20, 1999, over 20 plainclothes policemen broke into his house and arrested both his father and mother. At that time, Wang Boru was less than 10 years old and he was so scared that he cried loudly. After the event, nobody was there to take care of him for over 50 days. He wandered around by himself.

At around 9 a.m. on September 24, 2003, deputies Jiang Wei, Li Mingchao and a Mr. Dong, all from the Peiying Police Station, abducted Li Shuhua from her home. She was tortured to death less than half a month after her abduction. Yang Kai and Yang Hang's father, Yang Zhanjiu, was abducted and sentenced to seven years in prison in April 2004. He is being detained at the Siping Prison in Jilin Province. They left behind 2 young sons.

Since July 20, 1999--when the persecution of Falun Gong started--until today, I have been living in horror, worry and fear. Because my mother practises Falun Gong, the local government officials forced my parents to divorce. Since then, my mother and I have had a difficult and worrisome life. It was even worse during the time when mother was not at home. Seeing children in other families play with their mums or go shopping together, or hearing other children calling their mums, I could not hold back my tears and just let them run down my face.

According to incomplete statistics, WOIPFG has found that as of the end of April 2004, as a result of Internet-related activities, 108 Falun Gong practitioners have been incarcerated, illegally sent to labor camps, and tortured. Three identified Falun Gong practitioners arrested for Internet-related activities were tortured to death. Among the Falun Gong practitioners who have been arrested and persecuted as a result of Internet surveillance, those with advanced degrees constitute a relatively high percentage.

Ms. Li Shuhua's father Li Fuchen, sixty years of age, works for the Environmental Department in Yushu City. In October 2003, his daughter Li Shuhua died as a result of the persecution, his son-in-law Yang Zhanjiu was unjustly detained, and Li Fuchen's wife Cui Zhanyun was sent to a forced labour camp. During that time Li Fuchen lived a miserable life with his two young grandsons.

Sun Weizhe is an 11-year old boy who used to live on Xiangyang Street, in Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province. After his father Sun Liqiang and mother Liu Lihua were unconstitutionally sentenced, Sun Weizhe stayed with his maternal grandparents. Now his grandfather Mr. Liu, grandmother Li Chunrong and uncle Sun Lijun, who are all practitioners, have been forced to leave their home to avoid persecution, and Sun Weizhe is staying at a close family friend's house.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Feng Xiaomin, 34 years old, was from Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. She passed away on June 1, 2004 as a result of persecution. Her 1-year-old son, Wang Tianxing, was left behind. Currently he is being looked after by her aunt. Wang Xiaofeng, husband of Feng Xiaomin, was forced to leave home in June 2001. He has constantly been sought by the "610 Office."

If there were no persecution against Falun Gong, Xinyu would be like many other kids, enjoying her childhood in her parents' arms. Now when she misses her parents, all she can do is look at photographs of them. Falun Dafa practitioners Mr. Huang Ke and his wife Zhong Yunxiu both died as a result of the persecution, and their daughter became an orphan when she was less than 6 years old.

Falun Dafa practitioner, Mr. Tan Chengqiang from Hongcheng Village, Handian Town, Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province died from being persecuted and tortured. His oldest son, Tan Enlong, his second son, Tan Enfei, daughter, Tan Yuxiu, and wife, Guo Jinglan, must now depend on each other. They support themselves by farming a small 1.65 acre plot of land.

After Haonan's father died from the persecution, the boy was entitled to a monthly allowance of 200 yuan from the Leshan City Agriculture Department. In addition to his mother's meager salary, this is all the income that his mother, maternal grandmother, and himself have to survive on. It is very difficult for them to make ends meet.

At the time of their father's death, Haoran was 14 and Haotong was 12. Later that day, on July 8, 2002, the boys were taken to Harbin City. Both of them were handcuffed. An official asked the police to interrogate them separately. After being detained in Harbin City for one month, the two boys were sent to Wanjia Labour Camp where they were held for another month. They were not released until they developed scabies all over their bodies.

Because her parents were sentenced to prison for persisting in their belief in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance", Yang Wenjing was forced to live with her grandparents, who are in their late 60s and have very little income. Their home belongs to Yang Xiaojie's work unit and is about to be demolished. Yang Wenjing and her grandparents are about to become homeless.

Du Yuxin is five years old. She lives at 15 Yongsheng No.1 Lane, Songpu Town, Songbei District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. She was only four when her mother Zhao Shuhong died.

It was not until the next morning that Wang Yulan heard Liang Suyun was being force-fed in the hospital. Wang Yulan wanted to visit her daughter and brought noodles to the hospital. Only when she went there did she find out that Liang Suyun had passed away.

Ms. Yu Xiuling was from Group Four of Duchengzi Village, Damiao Town, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province. At 8:00am on the morning of September 19, 2001, she was transferred to Longcheng Police Office, where she was tortured to death the very same night. At the time of Yu Xiuling's death, her youngest daughter, Feng Lei, was only 2 years old. Husband Feng Dianxiang felt unable to look after both children at the same time, and sent his youngest daughter to live with his sister and her husband in Laoxigou Village, Damiao Town.

“My name is Zhang Yue and I am nine years old. Auntie Lu and I went to the big dam for a walk. Suddenly, two people stopped us. They did not allow us to speak, and pushed us into a vehicle. When we arrived at the police station, the police separated me from Auntie Lu and questioned me, “what is your name?” I did not know what they planned to do and did not answer him. One of them got very angry and slapped me on the face. They would not let me go back to home until about 4:00 a.m. in the morning. Even now, I still can't stop shivering all over, even though I'm no longer cold.”

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Zhang Qifa worked for the Sanchazi Forest Farm in Jiangyuan County Forestry Bureau in Baishan City, Jilin Province. On January 19, 2003, he died as a result of torture at the Chaoyanggou Forced Labour Camp in Changchun City, Jilin Province. His father Zhang Quanfu died from beating torture at the same labour camp on January 8, 2003. The two men left behind their daughter and granddaughter.

Wang Juanjuan is an 8-year-old girl. She is a fourth grader in Hetan Team Elementary School, Jiaojiazhuang Township, Yongchang County, Gansu Province. She lives with her 80-year-old grandmother, and they have no resources with which to live. Wang Juanjuan's father Wang Zexing, 40 years old, was sentenced to 10 years in prison in March 2001 for practising Falun Gong. Her mother, Wang Yongfang, 37 years old, is also a Falun Gong practitioner. She was sentenced to a 6-year prison term in March 2001.

Tian Ge was born on November 6, 1993. Her father Tian Yili was 32 years old when he died in 2002. Her mother Zhen Yujie was 28 years old when she died in 1999. Tian Ge now lives in Yinmachi Village, Xidayingzi Town, Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province with her Aunt Tian Hua and Uncle Wang Shukui.

On October 1, 2001, Falun Gong practitioner Chi Huiwen was taken to a brainwashing centre for the second time. The head of the brainwashing centre and others tortured Chi Huiwen for two days then released him because he was near death and they did not want to bear the responsibility. His health continued to deteriorate and he passed away on April 22, 2004 leaving behind his six-year-old daughter Chi Yujing.

In September 2001, Shandong Province Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Su Baolan died from being persecuted. Her son, Han Zhihui, who is 16 years old, is still in high school and survived. In 2003, his father remarried a woman with a 13-year-old daughter. Since then, Han Zhihui has been mistreated and abused by his stepmother. By this time his situation has become even more intolerable.

Yang Zhenyu (his nickname is Yuyu) was born in November 2001. He was a very lovely and active boy, but now he has become very silent. A child who is not yet three years old has changed so drastically, because his parents were sentenced to forced labour for practising Falun Gong.

Zhang Lu, 14, is the daughter of practitioners Zhang Lingjiang and Yu Jingxia from Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. At present, Yu Jingxia is detained at the second detention centre. She was sentenced to 10 years in labour camp at her first trial and she is appealing to the Supreme Court of Hebei Province. Her husband Zhang Lingjiang was sentenced to 13 years in prison. He is now detained at the Hebei Province's first prison in Baoding. With no one left at home to take care of the young girl, Zhang Lu's aunt adopted her.

On April 18, 2001, the police brutally beat Falun Gong practitioner Wang Huazhen until she was at the brink of death. Then they dragged her to the front of the city government building, poured gasoline on her and burned her to death. Listed below are the current circumstances of Wang Huazhen's children Feng Jun and Feng Hao.

Orphaned two-year-old Wang Tianxing is being cared for by his aunt Feng Xiaomei. Due to the long-term persecution of his parents he has no "legal status" and no registered permanent address. He is presently staying with his aunt. His father, Wang Xiaofeng, was forced to leave home to avoid persecution in June 2001. His mother, Feng Xiaomin, was tortured to death on June 1, 2004.

70-year-old Ms Wang Lianying had taken up Falun Gong before July 20, 1999 for health reasons. However, she stopped practising after the persecution of Falun Gong began. On September 18, 2004, she was arrested while sleeping, taken to the police station, and beaten to death on the same day. Upon hearing the news, Wang's family was furious. On the morning of September 19, as a protest, they strung a banner across the street that read, "Give Back Our 70-Year-Old Mother." With hundreds of spectators and bystanders, the traffic was in complete chaos. Later, they hung a banner across the hospital saying, "Knowing the law yet breaking the law, the police treat human lives like straw."
