Ahead of Norway's general election, leaders of each party received a special gift – copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, which has been responsible for 60 million people in China quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The leaders said that this kind of information was very much needed.

Political candidate and TV station reporter Astrid Freudenstein said that when she taught at a university, she heard of serious human rights abuses by the CCP and its persecution of people with religious belief. On August 6th 2008, at the European Union Commission headquarters in Brussels, a representative of CIPFG (Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China) formally submitted over one million signatures collected globally to the European Union Commission, requesting its help to stop the persecution of Falun Gong.

Mr. Lindblad said, "The Flushing incident must be initiated by the CCP regime. It tries to incite such things in other countries. It is horrible." When asked why he thought the CCP chose this time, Mr. Lindblad said that the CCP attempted to divert people's attention since it saw that the world's people protested the Olympic torch relay and its suppression in Tibet.

| Bulgaria: Economic Interests Lead to Disrespect for Human Rights [17.03.2007] |
Bulgarian Falun Dafa practitioners were invited to a meeting with Mr. Krasimir Stefanov, Director of the Directorate of Asia, Australia and Oceania in the Foreign Ministry of Bulgaria, with Mr. Zdravelin Georgiev official in charge for China, and with one more official of the Ministry. The meeting was requested by the practitioners after a letter sent by the Ministry to the Sofia Municipality, in which Mr. Stefanov stated that a peaceful appeal by members of Bulgarian Falun Gong Association in front of the building of the Chinese Embassy in Sofia is inexpedient. The reason mentioned was a potential threat to the diplomats of China. |

The Chinese Communist regime’s atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners have been incessantly condemned by the international community. Through partnership with the Working Together for Human Rights Association since last year, Amnesty International has kept a close eye on various atrocities perpetrated by the Chinese Communist regime to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. On various formal occasions, it also appealed for Falun Gong practitioners’ human rights and strongly condemned the Chinese regime’s persecution against Falun Gong practitioners. |

| Germany: Falun Gong Practitioner Presents a Petition to the Presidents of Germany and Italy [18.02.2007] |
On February the 9th 2007, German Federal President Mr. Horst Kohler returned to his alma mater, the University of Tübingen. A Falun Gong practitioner studying at the University presented the German President with a petition calling for an end to the Chinese communist regime’s persecution of Falun Gong. The president repeatedly said “thank you.” When the Italian president looked at what was going on with curiosity, the practitioner also presented him the report on the investigation into the Chinese communist regime’s harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and other related material in Italian. |

| United Kingdom: "We cannot allow such things to continue" [04.08.2006] |
Former Secretary of State (Asia-Pacific) for Canada and senior MP, David Kilgour, was invited by Lord Thurlow, former UK diplomat, to hold a seminar in the Houses of Parliament on July 17th regarding the CCP’s trade in organs harvested from living Falun Gong practitioners’ organs. The UK MPs who attended the seminar appealed to the UK government to take measures to stop the CCP’s atrocities. Mr. Kilgour introduced the attendees to the report he wrote in Canada, and answered questions raised by the MPs and media. |

Swedish human rights organization SHRIC had a stand called ‘Supporting Human Rights in China’, appealing for attention from all peace-loving people for human rights in China. Four Falun Gong practitioners who were persecuted in China but now live in Sweden talked about their own experiences of persecution to people who came to read the posters.

A forum to "Examine environmental pollution and the human rights situation in China” was held at the 7th meeting hall on June 27th, 2006. The organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners taking place in China’s labour camps became a focus of the meeting.

The mayor said, "I know all about Falun Gong. He looked at me, probably not expecting anyone in his city to practise Falun Gong. I showed him some materials about the Chinese Communist Party taking organs from living victims, including Falun Gong practitioners. He looked for a moment and said, "Too terrible, too terrible. These people are too bad; I will read this material carefully." I also told him some experiences of mine; he listened with attention. I finally said that just because of this, I have not seen my daughter for seven years. The Mayor's wife said: "This is one of the most intolerable things. Thank you for telling us your story." |

On April the 20th and April 21st, Falun Gong practitioners protested in Ostrava and Frydek-Mistek against the CCP removing live Falun Gong practitioners’ organs.We prepared petitions to urge the President of the Czech Republic to ask the CCP to immediately release all Falun Gong practitioners who are imprisoned in the secret concentration camps.

On May 15th, 2006, a week before the German Chancellor Merkel’s visit to China, an asian specialist in the Chancellor’s Office received representatives of Falun Gong practitioners, China Democratic League and a German human right organisation. At the same time, practitioners rallied in front of the Chancellor’s Office.

On April 20th and April 21st, Falun Gong practitioners in Ostrava and Frydek-Mistek in the Czech Republic held an activity to tell people about the incident of harvesting organs in China, which has been disclosed recently. Falun Gong practitioners’ organs were forcibly removed while they were still alive and traded on the black market; they were mainly sold to rich foreigners.

The Turkish officials regarded this issue with much importance. They replied that they will write letters of appeal to China and demand an investigation and said that they will inform Falun Gong practitioners of the outcome. Practitioners talked in more depth than before to the government officials and helped them gain an even clearer understanding of what Falun Gong is, the facts of the persecution, why the CCP is so wicked and how to help the innocent victims in China. |

On March 21st, Polish practitioners, with the help of the Polish Government, held a seminar called “The World and China without Communism” in the Polish parliament. | Denmark: Practitioners Visit Government Departments to Appeal for Attention to Sujiatun [29.03.2006] |
On the afternoon of March 22nd, practitioners put aside their work and study to gather outside the Prime Minister's Office. They asked for a meeting with the Prime Minister to deliver a petition letter in person and to ask the Prime Minister to help rescue Falun Gong practitioners who are on the verge of death. They went on to meet the Foreign Minister.

To call on the Turkish government to pay attention to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, which has now lasted for six years, Turkish Falun Gong practitioners went to the Grand Turkish National Assembly. They went to visit three senior assembly members, Mr. Ali Er, Ali Oksal and Mesut Deger, who is a lawyer and a leading member of the Human Right Committee of the assembly. They asked them to call on the Turkish government to pay attention to the cruel persecution of Falun Gong. |

"I have asked my officials to request the EU Presidency to raise the case of Ms Gao Rong Rong and the circumstances of her death with the Chinese authorities at the next session of the EU-China human rights dialogue which is due to take place in September. The EU-China human rights dialogue, established in 1996, is the formal framework through which the EU raises its concerns about individual human rights cases, including those of Falun Dafa practitioners and more general issues, such as the protection of freedom of religion and expression, which have a particular impact on practitioners of Falun Dafa." |

| Switzerland: Appealing for Support from United Nations Participants to Rescue my Auntie [09.09.2005] |
My auntie, Ms. Qiu Minghua, is being persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party because she refuses to give up practising Falun Gong. She has been illegally imprisoned since November 25th 2004. In order to appeal for her rescue, during the period of the UN Human Rights Committee from the end of July 2005 to the beginning of August I talked to about one hundred officials from different countries in the United Nations and to members of NGOs (non-governmental organisations). I appealed to them to support the rescue of Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted in Mainland China. The effect was good. |

From July 10th to 17th, practitioners from Italy and Germany held three activities in Rome. There were crowds of people in Rome during July. Many touring groups from China were shocked when they saw so many western Falun Gong practitioners. Some asked for materials, while more of them excitedly took pictures.

On the first day of their holiday, President Koehler publicly invited local people and tourists to visit the Arber with him and climb to the peak of the hill. On learning the news, local Falun Gong practitioners felt that this was a good opportunity to see the president on such an occasion and tell him about Falun Gong face to face while handing him a petition.

The University of Paris played host to the 29th International Congress on Law and Mental Health from July 2nd to 8th 2005. Experts, academics and witnesses to the persecution of Falun Gong were invited to attend the mental health summit and talk about persecution against the practice.

| France: Every Year, the Falun Gong Association Meets High Levels of Government on National Day [17.07.2005] |
From 2002 to 2005, every year on National Day, Falun Gong practitioners have had the chance to meet the French President, Prime Minister, Ministers, Members of Parliament and other non-political VIPs. On this year’s National Day, July 13th 2005, four representatives from the French Falun Gong Association were invited to a Garden Party at the Ministry of Overseas Department.
