Older Practitioner, Ms. Du Jinglan, Tortured to Death at Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison

On October 27th, 2005, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Du Jinglan was tortured to death by Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison.

Ms. Du Jinglan was 55 years old and lived in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. She was arrested at her home in 2002, sentenced to seven years of prison time, and incarcerated at the Heilongjiang Province Women's Prison. She was tortured until she was paralysed and totally incontinent. She often passed out, and her blood pressure was once as high as 250 mm.

On October 24th, 2005, Ms Du Jinglan was sent to the hospital in an unconscious state. She died at 4:00 a.m. on October 27th.
