On September 25th, China and Europe began a four day human rights dialogue in Strasbourg, which is one of the two meeting places of the European Parliament. One of the most important topics is the eight year long persecution of Falun Gong in China.
Falun Gong practitioners from France and Germany came to Strasbourg and distributed information about Falun Gong and calling for an end to the persecution in front of the EP headquarters.
Falun Gong practitioners displayed banners, which read "Falun Gong is Good" and "Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong" and displayed information poster boards.
Mr. Edward McMillan-Scott, the vice president of the European Parliament, came over with two assistants to chat with practitioners. He listened to practitioners and encouraged them to keep up their great work.
