Falun Gong practitioners in the UK once again gathered in Chinatown in London on October 6, 2012 to call upon the international community to focus on the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) crimes of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. They also encouraged the general public to choose justice and conscience and, at the same time, helped Chinese people quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
The same afternoon, practitioners once again addressed the area around the pagoda in Chinatown, London as a very striking window for clarifying the truth. A temporary construction site of the three-dimensional facilities was cleverly utilized. Around the stereoscopic facilities were hung Chinese and English banners and pictures exposing the 60 years of the Chinese regime's tyranny. The banners stated, "CCP’s organ harvesting is an intolerable injustice", " Please help stop the CCP's harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners", "UK Quit the CCP Service Center", "Dear compatriots, have you quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations?", and “Celebration of the 120 million Chinese compatriots having quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations”.
The focus of the day's activity was highlighted by two specially made banners of petitions asking the United Nations to carry out an independent investigation into the crimes of organ harvesting. Another two big banners contained the words: “Disintegrate the CCP and stop the persecution”, “Do you still keep silent when facing the CCP's forced live organ harvesting?” The information had a great impact.
The substantial information attracted a large number of passers-by who stopped to look, including many Chinese, especially students from mainland China.
Shocked at the truth, the general public presented a voice of justice, so the number of people who chose to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations increased.
In her speech, Dr. Li, who is in charge of the UK Quit the CCP Service Centre, condemned the violent behaviour of some ruffians who attacked the rally in Chinatown, London the previous Saturday, on September 29, 2012. She said that the volunteers who help Chinese people quit the CCP would not be affected by any disruptive behaviour. They would carry on clarifying the truth here and help Chinese compatriots get free of the control of the Communist Party. She continued: "Today, we are gathering here to advise those troublemakers last Saturday, do not let the CCP continue to control you at this critical moment of historic change. One false step brings everlasting grief. The CCP is not China; loving the party is not patriotic. On behalf of the volunteers working for the UK Quitting the CCP Service Center, we sincerely hope that Chinese people living in the UK and the Chinese tourists will quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations as soon as possible, thus choosing a bright future for yourselves. Heaven will destroy the CCP, do not get buried with it."
Next, Dr. Liu Wei said: “In 2006 when the Epoch Times first reported on organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, many Chinese and Westerners could not dare to believe it. They did not believe that such an evil could exist. But with the facts being constantly exposed, at this year's United Nations Conference on Human Rights, two non-governmental organizations publicized the fact that Falun Gong practitioners have had their organs harvested, and called on the United Nations to send an independent investigation group to China.”
Dr. Liu Wei said that the call to conscience by exposing the terrible sin was their original intention and also the purpose of the day's activity. He continued: "The purpose of our holding this activity in Chinatown is to let a large number of Chinese and British people know that such an evil has happened in China. As this evil is completely beyond the moral baseline human beings can accept, it is non-human, anti-human behavior. So we hope more Chinese people are able to see that this has occurred in China, so that they can really recognize the true nature of the CCP, quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations as soon as possible, so as to be given a new life and keep safe.”
The CCP’s crime of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners has shocked the entire world, including the public in Chinatown, London. They realized that what has never happened in the history of mankind is happening right now; so people, one after another, asked to sign the petition asking the United Nations to carry out an independent investigation into this matter.
Lorna, an administrative staff member from NHS, thinks that the organ harvesting simply should not have happened |
Lorna, an administrative staff member from NHS, together with one of her friends, was passing through Chinatown, London, where, for the first time she heard about Falun Gong, and for the first time she heard about the atrocity of the CCP’s organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners. As she works in the medical department, she was shocked, saying: "This is extremely unacceptable; such a thing should not have happened, no doubt, this is completely wrong. I’ve just signed the petition and I fully support this anti-organ-harvesting activity. "
Lorna expressed her hope that Falun Gong practitioners would stick to it to help people become aware of the truth. She said: "For many people, this is the starting point to know the truth; you have done a very good job. The documentary information you have provided is so touching, and that will encourage people to learn more about it. "
Lorna's friend also said that she would spread these fact to people to stop the CCP from continuing to commit this crime.
Mr. Lei Mengte and his daughter are eager to sign the petition condemning the CCP’s crime of organ harvesting |
Mr. Lei Mengte is a member of an international non-governmental organization defending human rights and freedoms, and is also engaged in intellectual property trade. On this day, he had brought his youngest daughter to Chinatown, London. He did not expect to see information about the largest contemporary human rights disaster. Both father and daughter went straight to a Falun Gong practitioner holding a petition form and asked to sign it. His daughter insisted on signing her name first. Mr. Lei said he would like to have a report about the CCP’s crime of forced live organ harvesting for press release, because he wanted this information in their organization's publications as soon as possible.
Without hesitation, a Hungarian couple signs the petition against the organ harvesting |
Mr. Edward and his wife are Hungarians who were traveling in London. Having seen and heard the information about organ harvesting, without hesitation, the couple signed the petition. Because they used to live under a communist regime, they have a clear understanding of the nature of the Communist Party. Mr. Edwards said: "The Communist Party has always been doing things like that, and they must be stopped."
Edison is a young Ghanaian who has been doing cleaning in Chinatown for five years. At the end of the day's activity, Edison happened to pass by the pagoda. He proudly told a Falun Gong practitioner that he had just signed the petition. He said: "I am proud of having done that. I think it's very good. If you persist in doing things like this, the world will be peaceful and everyone will have their human rights. We need someone to send out this message, that will lead to those on the street sending out their voices. This is the meaning of signing the petition. I am very, very pleased to see that so many people have signed. And what should the United Nations do to help those who suffer from the (live organ harvesting) disaster?"
Edison added that he admired the way that Falun Gong practitioners often clarify the facts in Chinatown. He said: “I like this activity. Every time I see Falun Gong activities, I feel very pleased because what you do is not for yourselves, but completely for others, so that others can understand it and have a future."
