Romania: Hearing about Falun Gong at a Bucharest Park

Visitors to Plumbuita Park on July 5, 2015 encountered a Falun Dafa booth, and many learned the basic facts about the practice, and the persecution of Falun Dafa in China over the past 16 years.

The Romanian visitors felt it was absurd that the people of China don't have freedom of belief. Some were especially sympathetic because they had themselves been persecuted by the Romanian Communist Party.

Many visitors signed petitions addressed to the United Nations, requesting that the Chinese communist regime immediately stop the state-sanctioned organ harvesting from living Falun Dafa practitioners in China.

Miss Flori and her friend signed the petition. She also took two blank forms to the stores near the park, and collected more than 20 signatures from the store owners and clerks. As they left, she took a few more blank forms for her family and friends, and promised to bring them back, with signatures, the following week.

Overseas Chinese responded to the truth-clarification too. One Chinese man was sitting in the park reading through a newspaper about Falun Dafa and the persecution in China. He then walked to the Falun Dafa booth and asked a practitioner to help him quit the Chinese Communist Party. Five more Chinese visitors also quit the party and its affiliates with help from the Falun Dafa practitioners.
