Germany: Clarifying the Facts at a Spiritual Health Fair in Hannover

Recently, German practitioners attended the Spiritual Health Fair in Hannover. This is the third year in a row that practitioners have attended this fair. Three years ago, there were no practitioners living in Hannover so German practitioners felt it would be good to introduce Falun Gong at the Spiritual Health Fair in the city. We didn’t have any previous experiences of participating in these kinds of exhibitions so we took all the materials we had. The stand was quite simple and narrow, but we still did our best to show Falun Gong’s magnificence. Many people were interested in our exhibition, and a Falun Gong exercise practice site was established in Hannover several weeks later.

In 2002, the fair was held once again. The new practitioners from Hannover hoped to participate in the health exhibition, so that they could help more people learn to practise Falun Gong. During these three days, we had many delightful and interesting experiences. Our exercise demonstrations caught the interest of many people.

The 2003 exhibition in Hannover was held over a weekend, from Friday to Sunday. All the practitioners in northern Germany came to enthusiastically support us, and helped to prepare everything we needed. Personally, I think practitioners really showed Dafa’s magnificence this time. In addition to demonstrating the exercises, we also talked to people who visited our booth about Falun Dafa. Through these activities, many people came to understand more about the magnificence of Falun Gong, and also about the Jiang regime’s persecution of 100 million innocent practitioners in China. There were two speeches made during the exhibition, one on economics, and the other on Falun Gong. Since most of the practitioners could not stay on the platform during the speech, other practitioners made use of this time to study the Fa [the teachings of Falun Gong] and exchange experiences together.
