Germany: Exposing Jiang's Crimes Locally

Some thoughts after reading Master’s comments on “Expose the Evil Happening Locally to the Local People"

On November the 15th, Minghui.Net publicised Master’s comments on the article, “Expose the Evil Happening Locally to the Local People." In the comments, Master said, “This approach is extremely effective at shocking and restraining those irrational wicked people. At the same time, by clarifying the facts to the people at a local level it most directly exposes and generates public awareness of the wicked persecution."

I remember two overseas stories about exposing the evil happening locally to the local people. One happened among Chinese people, the other one happened among westerners.

The first one happened when I came to Milan, Italy. I was in a restaurant when the female restaurant owner saw me reading a newspaper with Falun Gong in it. She hurriedly asked me to leave and said, “Hurry please leave. I was prosecuted by Falun Gong." As I was a stranger to the place and hadn’t heard about this before, I was surprised and asked her the reason and what she had been charged with. She was too embarrassed to say anything. Later, I heard a story about how she cooperated with the Chinese Embassy to interfere with Falun Gong practitioners’ peaceful appeal in a very ugly manner and was sued because of this. During my various experiences in clarifying the facts to Chinese people, I found that few of them knew exactly how many Falun Gong practitioners have been persecuted to death. However, almost all of them knew about the restaurant owner who was sued by Falun Gong. People were curious about what happened. After being sued, the news soon spread. People were told about the reason for prosecuting her and how the entire event had been instigated by Chinese government officials. The persecution had been spread to Italy, which made people angry.

When in Germany, one member of Parliament had a good relationship with us. Practitioners saw him several times and he was willing to talk with them. He knew the truth about the persecution well. However, he thought it had little to do with him and that he could do nothing to help. During Jiang’s visit in Germany, one western practitioner’s human rights were infringed upon by German policemen under pressure from Jiang. When the MP was approached by this practitioner, he immediately showed an interest and said that he would write letters to the relevant police department to find out the details. I think he felt that the incident was relevant to him as it occurred in his election district. This allowed practitioners to further clarify the facts to him about Jiang’s persecution of Falun Gong. Some people felt that the persecution in Germany was unbelievable when they were told. It was not until learning about this that people felt a link to the persecution.

Some practitioners are now collecting evidence of the Chinese Embassy’s disturbance, threats, and rumour-mongering among government officials, the media and the general public in various countries in Europe. The reason is to expose their evil conduct to local Chinese people and mainstream western society. The truth can then be further clarified to all circles. It requires all practitioners’ cooperation in each country to collect information and to give it to the relevant governments parties.
