From August the 14th to the 15th, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners held two anti-torture exhibits in Chinatown and City Centre over the weekend. Many Chinese and Westerners were shocked at the torture exhibition as it was the first of its kind to be held at Chinatown's Xiqing Park, and Westlake Park in downtown. A continuous stream of people enquired about the exhibition and took the initiative to sign the petition to request the Washington State Government to condemn Jiang's Group's persecution of Falun Gong. Many people obtained more materials as they wanted to pass them on to their friends, relatives and customers that they would meet during work. We constantly heard the enquiry, "What can I do for you?" "What else can I do to help you?" We also took this opportunity to explain to people the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution of those who practise Falun Gong in China.
