On October 2nd, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners from Bali, Jakarta and Surabaya participated in the Bali Festival Parade.
In the parade, the Falun Gong contingent was led by practitioners holding banners reading "Falun Dafa is Great" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance." Following them was a practitioner holding a banner emblazoned with the Falun Emblem, a troupe of waist-drummers, practitioners holding triangular flags, Lotus Flower Dancers, Fan Dancers, and Dragon dancers. Behind them were practitioners holding a banner reading "Falun Gong's Peaceful Parade," a large model of the book Zhuan Falun [the main text of Falun Dafa], and young practitioners' exercise demonstration on a float. Following the float was a practitioner holding a banner reading "Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong in China," and a live anti-torture exhibit on a decorated truck exposing the persecution of Falun Gong in China. The last practitioner in the procession held a banner reading "Falun Dafa Rectifies the Heart."
Falun Gong practitioners' contingent was the longest and most beautiful in the parade, and became the main focus. Countless spectators and tourists were attracted by practitioners' wonderful performance, and were shocked by the torture methods that Jiang Zemin''s faction uses to force Falun Gong practitioners in China to renounce their belief in the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance."
When Falun Gong practitioners reached the end of the parade, Vice-Chairman of the parade organising committee, Made Supatra Karang, shook hands with practitioners and expressed his appreciation and congratulations.
