Germany: Teacher Invites Practitioners to Introduce Falun Gong and Expose the Persecution during a School Event

On September the 24th 2004, Falun Gong practitioners were invited to introduce Falun Gong during a school event at the Martin Luther High School. A former teacher at the school who holds responsibility for the events programmes had watched a parade in a German town, in which Falun Gong participated. He was very moved by the dances, the vibrancy of the practitioners and the awful truth about the cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. A week later, because of his recommendation, Falun Gong participated on-stage in this school event as part of the cross-cultural programme.

Once the Falun Dafa music echoed through the room, everyone ceased to talk and watched the practitioners’ slow and flowing exercise movements on the stage. During the performance that more and more onlookers came into the hall to watch the performance.

After the performance, many of the visitors happily accepted flyers detailing the persecution. Before leaving, the practitioners thanked the teachers and asked them sign their name on a petition signature collection by the International Society for Human Rights (ISHR) calling for practitioner Xu Youlin’s release from illegal detention in China.
