On December 31st, 1999, I was unlawfully taken away to the Tiananmen Police Station for practising the Falun Gong exercises. Police tortured me for not disclosing the names of others who practise. They held me down on a desk. One policeman pulled my left arm towards my back forcefully, another pulled my right arm towards my back and another cuffed my hands with handcuffs that were shortened intentionally. One of them pulled me up to stand straight and another brutally beat my head with a wooden baton eight times. He walked behind me and kicked my knees from behind. I fell down on the ceramic floor, with my forehead hitting the floor first. My head was in great pain. The policeman cursed at me and yelled at me to stand up immediately. My hands could not move, and my wrists were badly inflamed. On the second day, they tortured me with "Carrying Sword on the back" (Figures 1, 2 and 3). (Note: The following scenes were re-enacted by practitioners based on the personal experience of practitioners tortured in the labour camp.)

On March 14th, 2000, I was unlawfully imprisoned in Heizuizi Labour Camp. In one year and 337 days of unlawful imprisonment, camp guard Xiao Aiqiu shocked me once with electric baton, Hou Zhihong shocked me twice, and head Wang Limei shocked me many times (Fig. 4). Hou Zhihong was promoted to the position of brigade head for torturing Falun Gong practitioners.
