Belated Report: Four Falun Gong Practitioners in Hubei, Hebei and Henan Provinces Have Died as a Result of Persecution

Falun Dafa practitioner Luo Jiazhi from Wuhan died as a result of the persecution in 2002

Ms. Luo Jiazhi, 62, was a resident of Wuhan City. In July of 2001, she was arrested by police chief Peng Xianguang along with Liu Sanhei, Yu Guoqiang, and others, from the Erqiao Police Station of Hanyang in Wuhan City. She was detained in the Taojialing brainwashing centre, where she suffered brutal torture. On the 9th of February in 2002, she was released. After returning home, the police kept Ms. Luo under close surveillance, taking away her personal freedom. Every time she went outside, they forced her to undergo a body search. In June of 2002, she passed away.

Falun Dafa practitioner Zhu Fengzhao from Baoding City, Hebei Province died as a result of the persecution

Mr. Zhu Fengzhao, 69, was a resident of Xinxiang Village of Chengguan Township, Li County, Baoding City, Hebei Province. He started practising Falun Dafa in 1997 and benefited tremendously. At the end of 2000, he went to Beijing to lawfully and peacefully appeal for a stop to the persecution. On the 10th of April in 2001, he was arrested and taken to the Chengguan Township Police Station, and his house was ransacked. Mr. Zhu was detained for two months and suffered cruel persecution. When he was on the verge of death, the police released him, but only after extorting him out of 2,000 yuan. Afterwards, the police still frequently harassed him. On the 14th of November in 2004, Zhu Fengzhao passed away.

Falun Dafa practitioner Lu Shenghua from Xinxiang City, Henan Province died as a result of the persecution

Falun Dafa practitioner Lu Shenghua from Xinxiang City, Henan Province, went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong at the end of 2000, and suffered brutal torture from Beijing police. After returning home, she was arrested and taken to Xinxiang Detention Centre for persecution. In May of 2001, she was bailed out for medical treatment. On the 24th of April in 2003, Lu Shenghua passed away.

Ms. Lu Shenghua, 62, lived in the residential part of No.103 Factory in Xinxiang City, Henan Province. She was illegally arrested three times, and each time she was fined 200 yuan by her workplace. In December of 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and for this she was arrested and taken to the Chongwen District Detention Centre in Beijing. In the freezing winter, the police took off all her clothes and ordered the prisoners to pour cold water on her twice a day. After returning home, she was arrested again and taken to Xinxiang Police Station on the 20th of January in 2001. On one occasion, the police put her in handcuffs and shackles for a week with the excuse of finding out if there were Dafa materials in the cell. Officials at the Pingyuan Police Station in Xinxiang City sent her to the Shibalihe Women' Forced Labour Camp in Zhengzhou City twice, but the labour camp didn't accept her because of her poor health. In May 2001, she was bailed out for medical treatment. For a period of time her workplace deducted money from her salary (550 yuan) and left only 100 yuan for her. She was monitored and harassed by the police constantly. On the 24th of April in 2003, Lu Shenghua passed away.

Falun Dafa practitioner Liu Yucai from Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province died as a result of the persecution

Dafa practitioner Liu Yucai was a resident of Majialiang Village, Jiangjiatun Township, Xuanhua County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. In 2000, Liu Yucai went to Beijing to appeal for a stop to the persecution, and was sentenced to a forced labour camp for two years. After returning home, he was frequently harassed by the police from the Xuanhua County Police Station. In January of 2004, his house was ransacked and he was forced into homelessness. On the 16th of January in 2004, he was found near death on a mountain ten miles from his home. Soon after being carried back home, he passed away.
