On the 6th and 7th of February 2005, from about 12 noon to ten o’clock at night, Falun Dafa practitioners in Holland were severely harassed by the Chinese Communist Party. Every two minutes they received a recorded message on both landlines and mobiles, consisting of propaganda. Dutch practitioners later found out that this same thing had happened to their fellow practitioners all over the world. The calls were recordings from the Chinese Communist Party’s mouthpiece - the China News Agency - that slandered Falun Gong by spreading lies and hatred against the practice. This is a serious act of harassing Dutch citizens’ basic rights and is a severe attack on freedom of belief.

Dutch Falun Gong practitioners have already reported these incidents to the police, whilst informing them about the Chinese Communist party’s campaign of genocide against Falun Gong that has lasted over five years. The Dutch police officers felt that it’s despicable for a government to persecute kind people. The police stated that they will investigate the harassing phone calls. Some of the officers were very interested in Falun Gong.
