I am a Falun Dafa practitioner in Beijing. I started practising Falun Dafa in Russia, then returned to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa after the persecution began on July 20, 1999.
Around October 2000, I personally witnessed a Falun Dafa practitioner being beaten to death. It was during the peak when practitioners were travelling to Beijing to appeal and the police brutally beat practitioners on Tiananmen Square. I saw a male Falun Dafa practitioner die on a bench at the Square, because he was beaten so brutally by the police. He was about thirty years old. Fellow practitioners carried his body out of the Square, and sent him out to suburban Beijing by car for burial. Of course, there must have been more than just this one unknown practitioner beaten to death at that time. Because I do not know his name, I have not written about this event until today.
