Nordic Falun Gong Practitioners Support 1.3 Million People Quitting the CCP

On Friday the 6th of May 2005, Nordic Falun Gong practitioners participated alongside representatives from different rights organisations concerned about the situation in China in an appeal outside the Chinese Embassy and at Mynttorget in Stockholm. The appeal was in support of human rights and to acknowledge the fact that 1.3 million people have quit the CCP during the past six months.

This wave of withdrawals began when The Epoch Times newspaper published a series of articles called "Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" towards the end of last year. The series is a sharp examination of the killing and oppression carried out by the communist party in China during the past sixty years and has been translated into fifteen languages. Fifteen to twenty thousand people per day are now withdrawing from the party.
