On February 15th, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Tian Huiying from Maoming City, Guangdong Province was arrested again. She was tortured in Sanshui Women's Forced Labour Camp until she was emaciated, and died on July 6th, 2005. The officials at the labour camp lied to her family, saying that she had been hit by a vehicle inside the labour camp, and that that this was the cause of her death. They compensated her family 30,000 yuan1 and cremated her body.
Ms. Tian Huiying was in her 40s, and was a Falun Dafa practitioner who went to Beijing to legally appeal for a stop to the persecution against Falun Dafa in December of 2000 and was arrested by officers from Poxin Town Substation. She was detained in Dianbai Detention Centre for ten months and forced to attend a brainwashing class in Maoming City for three years. She escaped the brainwashing centre in December of 2003.
On February 15th, 2004, she was arrested again while distributing leaflets exposing the persecution on a bus. She was sentenced to two years of forced labour and served in Guangdong Province Sanshui Women's Forced Labour Camp. The prison guards there tortured her mentally and physically to force her to "transform."2 While under great pressure, she wrote the Three Statements3 that would ensure she had no affiliation with Falun Gong against her will but soon declared it as null and void after she regained her senses. She was brutally tortured, all the prisoners could see her body was covered with bruises. Later, she was tortured until she suffered a mental collapse and suffered from insomnia. She became very weak. The camp officials were afraid of her case being exposed. They isolated her with other Falun Dafa practitioners and did not let anyone contact or speak to her.
Ms. Tian Huiying was just skin and bones due to the torture. She died on July 6th, 2005. In order to hide their crimes, the camp administrators told her family that she died within an hour after being hit by a vehicle inside the labour camp. They compensated her family 30,000 yuan and quickly cremated her body.
After Ms. Tian Huiying was arrested, her husband left home to be with another woman. He did not return home for a long time. Their three children are left at home without care. They have lost their mother forever. Kind-hearted people, please help them!

1. "Yuan" is the Chinese currency; 500 yuan is equal to the average monthly income of an urban worker in China.
2. "Reform or Transform" Implementation of brainwashing and torture in order to force a practitioner to renounce Falun Gong.
3. "Three Statements": Practitioners are coerced under brainwashing and torture to write "Repentance Statement," "Guarantee Statement" or 'Dissociation Statement" as proof that they have given up their belief. In the statement, the practitioner is forced to admit remorse for practising Falun Gong, promise to give up Falun Gong, and never again associate with other practitioners or go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong.
