Italian Television Viewers Admire Falun Gong Practitioners' Efforts

On September 2nd, Italian Falun Gong practitioners were invited to attend the QUADRIFOGLIO” TV Station’s programme “Good Night, TV” and expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution against Falun Gong. The forty-five minute programme showed the abuses of human rights against Falun Gong practitioners for the last six years and highlighted the staged self immolation case as an example of the terrifying lengths that the CCP will go to. In this case, the CCP arranged for a group of people to set fire to themselves on Tiananmen Square and falsely claim to be Falun Gong practitioners. The negative publicity from this event was then used to justify the cruel suppression of Falun Gong practitioners in the eyes of the deceived Chinese people.

The programme also showed three oil paintings created by Falun Gong practitioners from the “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance International Art Exhibition“, two of which demonstrated the plight of children who have been orphaned after their parents were killed by the CCP in the campaign of suppression.

In the programme, practitioners introduced what Falun Gong is and Falun Gong practitioners’ personal stories. The programme director used this to talk in a wider scope about the crimes of the CCP and related the facts about the Chinese Communist Party’s killing of eighty million Chinese people in the last fifty years. He also expressed his deep sympathy and concern for the Chinese people ruled by the Chinese Communist tyranny today in the 21st century. He hopes that via his TV programme, people would understand the other side of China, seldom revealed to the public and masked by the prosperous economy.
The programme director also told the viewers that some Italian people suggested a boycott of Chinese products and to fight against the Chinese Communist Party’s dictatorship with determined action.

During the programme, some viewers phoned in. A lady gave her thanks to the programme director and to Falun Gong practitioners for the splendid show because this programme has caused her to think deeply about the meaning of life. She especially admired the programme director's courage and the Falun Gong practitioners’ efforts.

The programme was transmitted to TV viewers in Lombardy, Piedmont and Emilia.
