From the 3rd to the 7th of October 2005, a five-day painting display entitled " Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition” was held in Trinity College, Dublin. The exhibition displayed forty pictures and water colour paintings created by artists who practise Falun Gong in different countries. The pictures revealed the holiness and beauty of Falun Gong cultivation practice from the aspect of art, as well as the cruel persecution taking place in China.

Trinity College was founded in 1592 and is a university with a long history. Falun Gong practitioners provide free exercise classes at the university. Many new students come to learn the exercises every year and have obtained healthy minds and bodies, and the purification of the soul. During the five-day exhibition, the university held an open day for new students. As the students looked round the campus, they had an opportunity to find out about Falun Gong.

People were shocked as they learned about the horrific means that the Chinese Communist Party uses to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. They were also moved by the artistic work. Kindhearted people are unable to believe that in the present world, such a bloody suppression is still taking place.

The exhibition provided people with an opportunity to learn about Falun Gong from a different angle, and also to see the brutality of the Chinese Communist Party. They asked many questions and wanted to know how to help Falun Gong practitioners who are being persecuted in China.
