On the morning of December 6th, 2005, a Malaysian citizen was refused entry to the Chinese Embassy in Singapore for his visa application just because he accepted a copy of Falun Gong truth-clarification materials outside of the embassy.
As usual, Falun Gong practitioners went to do the exercises as a group and clarify the truth about Falun Gong in front of the Chinese Embassy on the morning of December 6th. A passerby from Malaysia came to look at their display boards about the persecution of Falun Gong around 1:15 in the afternoon. The practitioners gave him a copy of truth-clarification materials and a copy of the "Nine Commentary on the Communist Party". He then went to the Chinese Embassy for a visa application.

Something unbelievable then happened. The security guard at the Chinese Embassy singled him out, examined his backpack and refused to let him enter for his visa application. The Malaysian didn't have recourse but to ask a friend to help him get a visa.
Falun Gong practitioners approached the Malaysian man to ask him what had happened. They returned to their exercises after talking to him. Fifteen minutes later, two police cars and some policemen in plain clothes came over and took pictures of the Falun Gong practitioners. The Falun Gong practitioners believe the Malaysian man was refused entry to the embassy because he accepted the Falun Gong truth-clarification materials. Inasmuch as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) does such things even in Singapore, it isn't hard to imagine how Falun Gong practitioners in China are treated.
Falun Gong practitioners in Singapore expose the persecution of Falun Gong in front of the Chinese Embassy. |
Falun Gong practitioners call on Singapore's government and the international community to pay special attention to the human rights violations against Falun Gong practitioners in China and to help stop the brutal persecution. Falun Gong practitioners hope that the Singapore police will be clear about what is right and wrong. The people have a right to learn the facts about Falun Gong. The Singapore police should help practitioners spread the truth and stop the persecution, instead of responding to the Chinese embassy's false alarm by taking pictures of Falun Gong practitioners.
