John Dee, the Vice-Chairman of European Friends of Falun Gong, wrote to the London-based British Medical Association (BMA) about the recent emergence of news about a hospital in China that doubles as a concentration camp. The Sujiatun concentration camp removes organs from live Falun Gong practitioners and sells them before cremating the practitioners’ bodies. For more information on Sujiatun, please see http://www.clearharmony.net/articles/200603/31867.html. European Friends of Falun Gong is a non-governmental organisation of people who don't practise Falun Gong but support freedom of belief for practitioners.

Dear Sirs,
We would like to bring to your attention a new despicable form of persecution being carried out by the Chinese government and Chinese Communist Party against Falun Gong practitioners in China.
News has emanated from China in recent days that the CCP is selling the body organs of Falun Gong practitioners killed in one of its detention centres, the Sujiatun Concentration Camp in Northern China, to foreign buyers. The establishment of this concentration camp is severe enough in the government’s 7-year campaign to suppress and crush those who exercise their democratic right to freedom of belief and expression by practising Falun Gong, but for the CCP to deal in the sale of their organs both in China and abroad shows a callousness and brutality beyond anything we have seen before.
This sinister twist to events has been revealed to the outside world by many witnesses, including a Taiwanese man whose friend travelled to China last year to obtain a new kidney, paying about $15,000. He believed that it would have been almost impossible for him to get a suitable replacement kidney in Taiwan within his lifetime, but that they were readily available in China.
Many Chinese people have attempted to contact various official sources in China to seek an explanation for the practice but have always been met with either a stonewall silence or a point-blank denial. We do not anticipate the Chinese authorities making any comment about the situation, but the campaign in the west must continue to bring to the world’s attention this truly horrendous brutality being carried out by China against its own people. Practitioners continue to protest peacefully outside many of China’s embassies and consulates around the world, which has helped to raise public awareness. We will also try to expose the CCP’s activities to as wide an audience as possible, not only to increase awareness amongst the public but also to bring pressure to bear on the Chinese authorities to end this horrendous practice of selling human organs, as part of the longer struggle to bring the persecution of Falun Gong to an end.
We feel it is our duty to inform you of the facts of this situation and would welcome any help and investigation you could offer.
Yours sincerely,
John Dee (Vice-Chairman)
