Falun Gong practitioners from the Czech Republic held a 24-hour hunger strike to protest against the concentration camp in Sujiatun, where Chinese practitioners are illegaly detained. The hunger strike began on Saturday, March 25th at 10am, at the Chinese Embassy in Prague.
Passers-by expressed their sympathy with the people suffering in the concentration camp, they expressed their support even during the late night hours, when the square was almost empty. One man burst into tears, when he had read about the horrors happening in China and when he saw the practitioners doing their peaceful meditation. "I’m so shattered. This meeting is not an accident, how can I help you?", he said. A German journalist from Deutsche Welle decided to write about the death camp Sujiatun. It was the first time he had heard about the brutal persecution of the Falun Gong practitioners in China and the witness testimonies quoted in flyers shocked him deeply.
The intitial reports about the concentration camp in Shenyang were provided to the Epoch Times newspaper by a reporter who has access to secret information about the Chinese Communist Party. According to his words, in this camp there are about 6 000 practitioners illegaly detained and to date none have escaped from it alive. A female witness who worked in the Liaoning hospital situated right beside the camp confirmed that organs like corneas, kidneys and heart are taken away from practitioners while they are still alive in most cases and then are being sold to diverse hospitals. Organs taken from living people are much more lucrative than organs removed from dead bodies. Bodies of dead practitioners are then being incinerated in the nearby crematorium. Some of the practitioners were still alive when they were thrown into the incinerator.
