Switzerland: "I Wish You Success"

On April 3rd 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from over thirty countries held a grand parade along the Leman Lake in Geneva to let people know about the goodness of Falun Dafa and strongly protest against the CCP’s crimes against Falun Gong practitioners carried out during the past seven years.

The big, colourful banners, the resonant sound of the waist-drums, the rows of photographs and display boards depicting the CCP’s crimes, all of these play a role in arousing the world’s people to pay attention to Falun Gong and condemn the CCP. Passers-by stopped to watch, shoppers and shop owners came out to view the parade, receive leaflets, and talk to practitioners.

Many practitioners handed out Falun Gong leaflets and information about the CCP’s crimes of harvesting Falun Gong practitioners’ organs for profit, which has recently been made public.

A Swiss lady expressed much sympathy for Falun Gong practitioners after hearing about the CCP’s atrocities in the concentration and labour camps in China. She expressed her support for Falun Gong practitioners’ anti-persecution campaign and wished practitioners' protests success.

During the course of the parade, two large coaches full of tourists from Mainland China passed by. Practitioners lifted up banners to let the Chinese tourists in the coaches see them. Those Chinese tourists had different responses while viewing the banners. Some of them raised their thumbs, some were smiling, some were taking photos, and also some just watched indifferently.

Some Falun Gong practitioners went over to talk to the group about the concentration camps in China. The Chinese tourists on the coach listened to practitioners without saying anything, except the tour group leader who said, “I am from Shenyang, why did I not hear about this”. Practitioners told him that one could not possibly hear any reports about the CCP’s evil doings because of the CCP’s information blockade. Today the CCP is persecuting Falun Gong practitioners who are cultivating Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance, if all our Chinese people are indifferent to this matter and then the disaster will possibly fall on your head tomorrow.

As the parade proceeded, we came across several Chinese students. A few practitioners told the truth to them. A female student asked what Falun Gong is, why the CCP persecutes Falun Gong. Practitioners explained to her that Falun Gong is a spiritual practice of the Buddha School which cultivates according to Truthfulness Compassion and Forbearance. The former leader of the CCP launched the genocidal persecution of Falun Gong simply because he was afraid of the practice's popularity, thinking it might endanger his political power.

Practitioners also told her that, on the 8th of March 2006, an insider revealed that secret concentration camps in China imprisoned many Falun Gong practitioners and their organs were removed from their bodies while being persecuted to the edge of death. Tthe remains of the body were cremated to eliminate the evidence of the crime. Another senior military doctor subsequently revealed that there are thirty-six known concentration camps in China. Based on over seven years of persecution reports published on the Minghui website, this kind of persecution exists in all the labour camps and prisons where Falun Gong practitioners are detained. After the concentration camps were exposed to the public, the CCP spent more than three weeks covering the truth and eliminating possible evidence of the crimes, then sent a high ranking person to invite the international society to start an investigation into this matter. All people who understand the history of the CCP know that the CCP can do anything they want; they are especially good at lying and denying the facts. We hope the international community can send an independent inspection group and go to all the labour camps and prisons where Falun Gong practitioners are being imprisoned to instigate an independent investigation.

After listening to the truth, a Chinese student said she understood: "To love our nation is not the same as to love the party”, and said that she would read The Epoch Times newspapers to obtain more information.

A few western schoolchildren, each with a leaflet in hand, shouted loudly “Falun Gong is Good.” Two ladies held the leaflets and discussed with each other while waiting for the bus. Having listened to the truth, a Singaporean said, "You have done very well, if every Chinese person quit the CCP, the CCP would collapse naturally and then the persecution also could not exist. I wish you success".
